Healthier= lonelier? Rant

I'm a lot more active than I was a year ago. Earlier this year, I bumped up my activity to include weight-lifting as a regular routine and have noticed the more active I am, the more active I want to be. Sounds like a good thing, right? No...not really. There's a couple of main reasons why. ...

locking elbows?

I have a question you might be able to answer. When I'm doing rows, especially bent over one arm kettle bell rows, when it comes to the eccentric contraction my elbows feel like they physically lock in the middle as i'm releasing. There is also a slight pain to it as well until I "unlock" my elbow....

Saw a good video about Bodybuilding.com forums today

It was by a guy named Jessee Shand who was 700 pounds and posted his pics on bodybuilding.com as a joke. He got so much support from the forums that he ended up loosing over 400 pounds. It was very encouraging. I tried looking him up as a member but his name didn't come up. It just goes to show how...

Hurrow everyone. Thought I would start one of these. We have a bulking thread, and I figure that after all the winter months, there are most likely others (like me) working on cutting down some. Body fat measurement discouragement

I am new here. I've been consistently lifting for about a year and a half at my local y. I'm not crazy strong but do workout very consistently. I recently joined a new gym and I'm very discouraged because their fancy body for measurement device called an inbody says I'm 35 percent body fat. I...

Hi everyone! Last year I bulked, then cut, and now am at maintenance. I put on 2 inches in my legs and a couple to my hips ( so butt grew). I didn't really want to get bigger. I wanted to stay the same size and bulk to gain muscle and cut to lose fat thus still saying the same size after its...

Is increasing weight always imporant for building muscle?

Good afternoon everyone :) I've always been focused a lot on numbers when it comes to lifting weights but then I notice that I plateau if I increase weight too often on most lifts. It's kind of un-motivating. Is it always necessary to increase weight every week or so? I've always believed that...

Stuborn cellulite - no muscle underneath?

Ok, so I've been at this now a while. I've seen results and I'm the smallest I've ever been measurements wise but a couple of kgs heavier than normal. I can see the top 2 of my abs and I still have a little bit of stubborn left on top of the bottom 4. My legs have seen the most - I had a lot of...
