In the industry we are in, and with such a focus on 'being lean', it is no surprise that everyone is curious as to what their BF is. However - in the female community on a whole, there is a gross distortion of what a persons BF usually is! So - on the request of a few members, I have put together...

Sticky Thread Sticky: Teenagers and dieting

This has been on my mind for a while, and I thought I might as well post it. I've recently noticed an increase of threads by teenage girls in the female forum regarding fat loss, 'cutting' and body recomposition in general. In my opinion people should take caution answering teenage girls'...

Fat Calves

Hello. I am female with big calves. They are basically just fat and no muscles. Working out would make them bigger. So is there any way I could make them slimmer? Here is a picture. They are almost the same size as my thighs. How unattractive... right?

leaning out legs whilst getting a bigger bum- is this possible?

For the past 4 months I've begun lifting weights and trying to lose body fat. I am pear shaped and I have seen a difference in my shape (heavy shoulder and back exercises and fat loss from hips and thighs are helping slowly balance out my shape) I have been trying to build a bigger bum. Unhappy Muscle Weight Gain

I started training last May (2014), when I was 135lbs & 27% bodyfat. I've been lifting and doing cardio consistently for almost a year now and I was really happy with myself. I got down to 122lbs, 15.5% bodyfat (fluctuates to 18% at the highest) and started gaining muscle. The thing is, now I'm not...

Bar weight - do you count it?

So yesterday I hit a PB of an 80kg1RM Deadlift...I started on 20kg back in December so pretty proud! However - Do you ladies count the bar weight? Some have told me I should have (I didn't in that lift). If I had it would have totaled at 92kg - my gyms 5ft bar weighs 12kg. What do you do?...
