Cortisol and caffeine- weight loss?

I've read your body will resist weight loss if you're cortisol levels are high. I love coffee, I drink about 2 cups a day. I've also read caffeine is great before a workout and can promote weight loss. Any opinions on this subject? Should I quit drinking coffee? Thank you everyone.

Deload/reverse dieting question

So I'm up to 3400 calls and weight has not increased was cutting at 3200. This week I would normally make the jump to 3500, but I'm taking the week off as I'm long overdue a deload. Should I make that jump would I be risking fat gains? Or drop a little since I won't be doing near as much activity
