Question Post workout nutrition before bed?

How should I go about post workout nutrition if I workout before bed? (Workout at 7:30pm, get home around 9pm, go to bed around 10-10:30pm) I don't want to consume a massive amount of calories right before bed (although I am bulking), so I need some suggestions please & thank you!

Please Help sort out my nutrition? :P

Hey 16yo 130Ib a little skinny. I guess that means about 115g (weight - about 10% body fat) of protein per day would be "optimal". On workout days, I try to get in 100g. On rest days I usually get about 60g. (Working out 3 times a week on 5x5 SL). Will not getting the required amount make a big...

Is taking too much protein at once bad?

Hey, I'm 130 lb with a low body fat so I guess that means about 115g of protein per day would be "optimal". On workout days, I try to get in 100g. On non workout days I usually get about 60g. (Working out 3 times a week on 5x5 strong lifts). Will this make a big difference in terms of my gains?...

Finding The Right Balance For a Climber

Hey all, I am 18 years old if that information is useful. I used to rock climb every day for a year and a half. I was strong, climbed well, and was the healthiest I've ever been. I was 5'8 and 145 pounds, roughly 12-15% body fat. Now I am back at the gym (two years later) and I'm...

Question How do I lower triglycerides and LDL ?

If I eat more than enough protein every day, can I have a slight calorie deficit?

I have a hard time getting a calorie surplus. The macro calculators are telling me to eat a little over 3,000 calories a day, but I find it hard to meet that number without gorging myself when I'm not hungry, which I find stupid. I've read some of the old school bodybuilders didn't believe in...

How Quickly to Transfer from Cut to Bulk

Cut is finished, ready to bulk. How would you optimally up your calories from hell to heaven? I assume it's a bad idea to suddenly to start eating 1k more calories when you've been in a deficit. How does an extra 200 calories per week sound? Until you've reached your desired gain rate. Could you go...

Is milk truly bad?

I've read the reviews, I've heard all the rumors from weightlifters. I know that milk has been given a bad rap recently, but I still defend it. Probably because I'm 18 and what I eat on a daily basis doesn't seem to effectively strike a blow against my high metabloism, but I don't see why milk is...

Calculating Calories/Macros Correctly
