Best dairy and gluten free *high* protein bars?

I've looked for numerous dairy and gluten free protein bars on the web and stores like Whole Foods but many of them are very high in fat (10 or more grams) and/or sugar and/or calories in general (180-260+) but then only have 6-12g of protein. These include Vega protein bars, RX bars, Luna bars,...

Why do people think carbohydrates make you/keep you fat?

I guess it has something to do with the belief that the body burns body fat for energy when it doesn’t have carbs to burn. Isn't this true though? If it is, then why shouldn’t somebody who’s trying to lose weight try to avoid carbs?

Raw vs Cooked chicken weight conversion?

I've recently become religious about weighing my food but I always weighed it cooked. Is there a general rule of thumb for weighing raw vs cooked chicken breasts? I know that 4oz of raw top round usually gets you 3oz cooked and used the same conversion for chicken. Just want to make...

Noob question about macros

I'm just wondering, do my macros need to be spot on per meal to get the results I'm looking for, or is it fine as long as they even out per day? For instance, I'm doing an IF diet, with 40/30/30 macros. If one meal is (random numbers here) 30/25/45, but the next evens my daily macros to the...

Carbs on off days

I've been cutting for quite some time, keeping the Carb-Back Loading protocole, which basically meant keeping my carbs very low on rest days (max 30 g), higher on workout days - I would eat a solid amount of carbs (60-70 g) post-workout. I've cut to 18% BF (25 y/o female). Now I want to start...

I'm 16 years old and weigh about 124 pounds. I have taken steps in previous years to gain more weight with no success. Question about frying fats and counting calories

For instance, you fry 1.5g of butter with 4 eggs. Do you count that entire 1.5g of butter as part of your meal, or does some of it evaporate when it's heating up....how does it work?
