Question Carb up days: 8lbs gained?

I'm doing CKD right now for about a month and trying lean out for the summer time. I started around 178lb and I'm around 170lb now... However every "carb up" day causes me to gain around 8lbs! The sad part is I'm not even going crazy with the carbs...I'm only taking in around 3k calories total...
