WEIGHT DAY

V-Bar PULLDOWNS: 3 sets @ #110 PB HERE, 1 sets @ #100

YATES ROW: 2 sets @ #110, 2 sets @ #100
STRAIGHT ARM PULLDOWNS: All sets @ #80 on this cable machine
HACK SQUATS: Varying sets and reps .. high end #220. I was drinking all over the hack squat machine when I was done!!
LEG EXTENSIONS: Varying sets and reps .. high end #120!
BB V-UPS: #40 BB
INCLINE BB PRESS: 3 sets @ #85.1 set @ #75
LYING INCLINE BB CURL: All sets @ #20
CG FLAT BENCH: On smith .. #70 in plates .. by the third set I remembered why I don’t like these .. they bother my left elbow.

STRENGTH: Hard to access because this was a completely different kind of workout for me ….
ENERGY LEVELS: EXCELLENT .. less rest between sets
ENDURANCE: GREAT.
PUMP: Excellent!
FOCUS and DRIVE: ON TARGET .. ENTIRE WO!!!
SIDE EFFECTS: no negative ones
TODAY’S NOTES: Today starts the next routine and shifts the emphasis off powerlifting for a cycle and on to building a V-taper and all my weak points. SWEAT FACTOR here is 10!!!

Tomorrow, come pouring rain, freezing cold, or blazing sun .. the roadbike is coming out of storage for a RAGNAROK RIDE with CORDYGEN5!!!! :D

JANUARY 1, 2007 DAY 19 of 40
WEIGHT:WE ARE SO… NOT GOING THERE TODAY!!!:eek:
CARDIO DAY

40 MILES ROAD BIKING!!!!: Being a cyclist at heart, I could not wait one day longer to try the RAGNAROK out on the road with the CORDYGEN5. I took ˝ scoop upon of the ROK upon wakening and 1 full scoop 30 minutes prior to the ride with a 1 CORDYGEN 5. I wanted to test the endurance factor on cardio beyond one hour in length .. ie. my typical spinning session.

STRENGTH: Not a factor here.
ENERGY LEVELS: FABULOUS .. despite only 4 hours of sleep!
ENDURANCE: EXCELLENT considering I have not been on the bike for awhile !
PUMP: MY QUADS WERE SQUAT BIG!!
FOCUS and DRIVE: VERY DRIVEN and FOCUS WAS WERE IT NEEDED TO BE!
SIDE EFFECTS: Ok .. the sweat factor here became an issue in the cold .. I WAS FREEZING and SOAKED!!!:(
TODAY’S NOTES: AWESOME RIDE!!! I do believe the CORDYGEN5 played a role as well … no breathlessness despite pushing the speed for someone who has been off the bike far too long! I think the RAGNAROK definitely played in with the endurance factor … cardio was double my typical session now .. and I did it!!! I am seeing some real potential here for use with cycling!!!:D

Oh I do, lol. I never get drunk, not into it, lol.

Was good. My mate Si picked me up around 9. Went to a karaoke party hosted by Si's girl's friend. Then at 11pm we all deaded over to the Krazyhouse. Danced, catched up on stuff and pretty much enjoyed the music. My voice box is hoarse though, lol. Got home around 10 to 3 in the morning. Had something to eat and went to bed about 5. Woke up at 11am today. went to my sisters with family and had a new years dinner. Got home around 5 or so and currently resting my voice and drinking some Met-Rx, lol.

I take a dose of 3 caplets. I use them for going out as well as I breath pretty heavily sometimes depending on the activity. Walking does that but I prefer it to being 4 feet high on wheels lol. I use C5 for more than just workouts.

Barb run the Cordygen5 45 minutes prior to cycling or other endurance activity ;) I love C5 and will never do cardio without it. When cutting I run and with C5 I can do 5 mile without loosing my breath. I love my lil blue pill :D I see Dino stepped in to keep the perv factor high. Thanks Dino!

** happy with numbers on lat pulldown and kelso shrugs .. these were done on the HARD cables.

I also have the Trainer (now filed on both handles), the #1 (filed on one handle), the #2 and the #3.:)
Unfortunately my gripper days have come to an end for the time being at least, I just can't shake this hand injury!! :mad:

I've had it for a few months now:o
I will be calling the doc's tommorrow as it's starting to get in the way of other lifts. Sometimes I get pain from just lifting a loaf of bread in a pinch grip!! :eek:

I injured the hand by doing too much gripper work!! (No smartass remarks:D:)

I would recommend 2 or max 3 times a week! I had to hide then away a few times !LOL :D

In your case I'd probably start with the #sport (80lbs), I think the easiest gripper (the guide) will be too easy for you, and the #trainer may be too hard . I don't know! I wouldn't mind betting that you'd be able to close the #trainer after a short while! So, yeah go for the soprt and trainer.
See to it that you warm up properly with partial reps if need be first!!

Start off with 4x8-10 reps as a warm up. Then move on to sets of 5 or less on a tuffer gripper, in your case the trainer! :)

Let me know if you have any more Qs :)

1 HOUR SPINNING and 35 MINUTES of WT. TRAINING: WENT GREAT!

STRENGTH: Not a factor in spinning but was beyond the norm in the weight play..
ENERGY LEVELS: 10/10 despite having to do a middle of the night run for work!
ENDURANCE: 10/10 absolutely NO problem hopping right from the spinning to the weight training!
PUMP: OMG .. huge QUAD pump .. the pants were TIGHT over the quads when leaving the gym.
FOCUS and DRIVE: 10/10
SIDE EFFECTS: Just the additional SWEAT FACTOR.
TODAY’S NOTES: HEAPING scoop of RAGNAROK and 3 CORDYGEN5 … SPINNING CLASS ROKED .. all the hardcore regulars back from the holidays and it was on! I even noted one of my best riders repeatedly checking his heart rate monitor and another student monitoring heart rate by finger reading his pulse .. just a GREAT DAY!! Recovery from yesterday’s weight training session was very good. I have already ordered and received more RAGNAROK and now I am going to place an order for the CORDYGEN5.

I havent weighed myself since last time. Il do so tomorow as I've just eat, lol.

I'm good, back to training thank god. Nose was stuffy but managed ok. Gonna start taking Citruvol and C5 on off days as well as I think il benefit more, so hoping to ramp up and I cant wait to get some Carnage. Cordygen5, Citrulline Malate, Beta-Alanine and creatine is making me water at the mouth, but enough about liquids in mouths, aint the weekend yet ;)

Do you have a weight belt at the gym? If so - add plates to your waist for these.... There is nothing more beautiful than a woman doing full ROM weighted parallel bar dips (well.... the exception being weighted WG pull ups...).

Cheers Barb! I wouldn't count to strongly on grippers boosting your grip in the deadlift. They may or may not. Are you still doing holds? If so work in the 7-10 second range as we talked about before.
I'm currently only doing pronated deads. Once I get the weight up around my mixed grip deadlift, then I'll go back to con. deads as I know I'll be stronger by then.
If you were to do timed hold on the grippers, then I could say that'll help the grip in the dead.

Bench is my nemesis too:(

Did I mention I have zero DOMS today?? :D

TODAY’S NOTES: Took the MEGASCOOP of RAGNAROK .. wish I had more CORDYGEN5 .. waiting for that to arrive .. and had just a GREAT SESSION! Several of the powerlifters at the gym have begun using the RAGNAROK .. they are absolutely loving it!!!:
