Hello!

Beginning Nov 02 I started a workout and diet regimen that consisted of 4 day workouts - 30 min cardio and 30 min machine weights. My initial measurements were:

Weight 160lbs
Chest 41”
Navel 38”
Butt 43”

Currently its:

Weight: 150lbs
Chest 39
Navel 35
Butt 41

Although I've lost inches on my chest, my boobies have begun to sag bigtime! What exercises can be done to make them perky?

Thanks!

Being that you are a woman and I am a man there are of course some differences in anatomy but I had a similar problem. Recently I entered a bodybuilding show. I had four months to prepare and I felt that my chest muscles, although big enough, seemed to be sloping down...

I met with a trainer who advised me to skip flat benching and concentrate on incline movements for my chest excercises. Incline presses help to target the upper portion of you chest and conections to your shoulder.

After 4 months I noticed great improvements however as I said earlier we have different anatomy.

How tall are you? This is important because if you are 5'1" at 150 you may have a few pounds to lose in order to make them "perkier."

I hate to say this but... If you are very lean and you feel you are not holding up well enough and you are unhappy you might consider implants. But please only consider this as a last resort and if you are very unhappy with yourself. Implants can be dangerous and beleive it or not men prefer natural to saline.

Good luck.

Gravity will take over unless you stay on top of things. Eat a good diet, drink a lot of water and do some quality chest training. The entire chest can best be targeted with the flat press, from there add some incline presses to hit higher, this will bring some shoulder involvement was well, but keep your focus on the chest. Try different degrees on the incline so your training doesn't get stale.

Age helps too, unfortunately or fortunately.

Gravity has made that decision for them to try for my waist (although I was never big to begin with)....that and having breastfed both my children when they were babies. But will also take the suggestions about using incline exercises to heart.

Might never be "perky" but at least look better in a bra....;)

blugirl, I love incline presses because they give me a nice line up the center of my chest (along with dumbbell flyes, cable flyes). :) You need to incorporate chest exercises that will hit your entire chest -- incline presses, pec deck, cable flyes, flat bench, etc. The one I'm guilty of leaving out is the decline press. I tend to focus more on the incline press -- I generally do it first when my strength levels are best.

I had the same problem.....so I understand where you are coming from. I made the decision to get implants and I will say I feel so much more confident about myself now. I was well worth the money. Even though I have them now I know that if your boobs are sagging try decline bench presses with a bar or dumbells or lower cable crossovers. Thats good for the lower part of the breast, which I think lifts them up a little. the incline stuff is good too and of course various types of pushups.
