GoodMornig to all! I am officially starting my journal today - scary because I want to keep up with thatis commitment!! My plan is to get these 20 pounds off by June 2007. I am very motivated but realize that my age 42 - and my physical makeup - millions of overtraining injuries are working against me!
Age sounds like an excuse but I can say with sertainty that when the clock struck 40 my body came to a screaching halt!! I will use my training knowledge to get it back on track thoug. Diet has to be low carb for me. I did high fruits and vegetabls and gained a ton of weight - all of those who say you will never get fat eating fruit and veg need to see me in a bathing suit!!! I got fat!! So Here goes!
Todays workout was a 5 mile hobble - supposed to be a run but due to major injuries I was pleased with that! I am in court all day so a workout is not a possibility until perhaps 7:00pm but will have to see what dd has for homework!! Planning onstaying low carb today. I have been eating 3 bags of grapes a day so I will go through some major sugar withdrawl I am sure!! Keep up the good work!! Train hard!

Well hopefully your court committment is on the right side of the law :)

Good luck. I am certain that if you get a good diet going, and train with weights in addition to your running (hobbling), you will meet and exceed your goals.

Welcome.

I think there's a balance between eating 3 bags of grapes a day and eating some fruits and LOTS of veggies. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
