Today was my first workout while on "NOX-Surge". My initial thoughts as follows:
1. Taste - I took 2 scoops and had no problem drinking it down. It wasn't too sweet. Not bad at all...
2. Mixability - Perfect. No residue...nothing. A+
3. Energy and Focus - Amazing. I thought NOExplode was the best when it came to this...I was wrong. I lifted for an hour and could have went for one more. Impressive...
4. Pumps - as advertised. I am so used to walking out of the gym and losing my pumps somewhere on the 5 minute drive back to work. Not today!! Damn, they lasted for almost an hour.
Today was chest day but my wonderful lifting partner decide to wuss out on me so I was without a spotter. Usually I hammer my chest hard but today was kind of light. Believe it or not, my gym has two floors in a small town and nobody is ever there!!! It's sweet but never a spotter when dork pusses out.

This was the first time since tearing the ACL that I worked legs. I have tried before but got to nervous and passed. Today I had the mental drive to try it and it was great. My lifts are light I know but you have to start somewhere...right?
The drive was again there today and the pumps were amazing. Why are my bi's pumped? Who knows but I love it! Tomorrow is tri day....
On a side note...I ordered some CEE today from bb.com. Thanks BIG F@CE for the suggestion. I'll start stacking this with the NOX when it gets here. I'm thru with the Cellmass...thank god.

Awesome pumps today. My arms were huge! My buddy asked if I was "juicing it". I have so much energy on this stuff and it's not nervous energy. NO-Explode made me jittery but this stuff keeps me going and keeps me focused. Damn that was impressive. Thanks CEL!

What an awesome day. Felt very rested from the weekend and the "high" from the Surge was incredible. I didn't want to stop. My entire upper body was pumped after I was done. I started/resumed working out in Mar. '06 after my knee was heeled. More or less, a three year abscence from lifting. The first time I got on the bench I struggled to put up 135#'s. Now 8 months later, I have added 100#'s to my bench and every lift now is a PR :). I am so proud of myself that I stuck thru this. I am stronger, bigger, & most importantly healthier than ever before.
Enough about me...this **** blows NO-Explode out of the water. JMO but the pumps I get last for hours and my focus is awesome. I love the vein that runs down my bicep now....where was that before :)
Until tomorrow....have a great one.

what do you mean with chains? sounds interesting.
TheBigEasy
11-22-2006, 06:00 PM
In our gym, they have these thick linked chains. I loop them, hang the loop on the bar (1 for each side), and them hang on the ground. It helps a ton with balance and also makes it harder as you push up. I love finishing chest with these...I get a great burn.

Had to get a workout in today before I eat like a pig...makes me feel better about doing it ;) First morning workout on the Surge. Usually I hate working out in the mornings but 10 minutes after I had my drink I was fired up and ready to go. Workouts fly on this stuff...once again the pumps were awesome. I sound like a broken record...
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!!!
Hitting the links again tomorrow so no workout...It's 55 in PA today. Feels like summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Put the X-mas lights up for the wife today. A good 5 hour project. Came in the house and remembered to take my 1 scoop of Surge as I felt so dead from my chore I had no intentions of lifting. 10 minutes later I got my second wind (Thanks to my Surge!) so I took 2 additional scoops and went downstairs to workout. My energy was again thru the roof...
On a side note...I have officially outgrown my home gym. I need to make a purchase but I have to make due with what I have.

Not sure the weight of each chain in case you were wondering. We are figuring they weigh about 30#'s a piece. I am just noting the BB & Plate weight in my lifts with the chains. You can add 60#'s to each lift....
My veins are really starting to "pop" if you will. Energy level is great, as usual, and the pumps are ridiculous.
