I was scared to check my weight this weekend, afraid it might be droppin like a mofo.. wouldn't be surprised if right where you are...

Why be scared? There's one thing i've learned thru my cut. BW doesnt matter. As long as you are making progress from the previous year then BW simply doesnt matter.

As W8 said earlier, he's weighted about the same for the past 2 years, but now carries twice as much muscle. BW is only an indicator of what you weigh....and that's it.

I know exactly what you're feeling. Can you get in and do some light leg work?? I'd go in just to get some blood flowing bro...it'll make you feel better about things. Maybe walk on the treadmill??


The fact is, you're not losing muscle and gaining fat. It's just too soon for anything to take place of that nature.

It's gonna take you a couple days to get back into the swing of things...but that's it.

try low intensity cardio, like walking. its better than nothing and maybe you'll burn some fat.

Well, i do have 2 weeks left of cutting, but, i've started a clean bulk. I'm going to clean bulk/refeed this week, then diet back down for LC's comp for a week w/hard cardio. Then i'll refeed for a day before i snap the pics....then it's the clean bulk for a looooooooong while :D

Take a rest day man. Maybe two... I'm pretty generous with rest days and it seems to help maintain gains pretty well.

If you MUST be in the gym, you could prolly just go there and kick it in the mens locker room. Just sayin...

that sounds ****ed up, maybe all the low carb **** makes you carb sensitive yo... when I bulked the 1st time I never even counted carbs, I had them with every meal except for before bed and I barely gained fat despite goin from 160-200+ lbs

I read over that, and like it. It's kind of what i'm doing right now. Eating several small meals..emphasizing good fats in each meal to keep insulin spiking to a minimum.

One thing i KNOW i need to do is monitor my serving sizes better. I bet i'm eating two servings when i'm supposed to be eating one lol..

So, i hate pics, they always make ya look worse. But, as u can see i've still got some to lose around the lower abdomen region. 4 abs are showing pretty clearly. Back is carved out pretty damn well. Legs have seperation. Arms are small, but dont look to bad i reckon since i've lost a lot of weight.

I aint real happy with these, but this is the first time i've ever had visible ab definition. I prolly need to lose 10 more lbs to get rid of the lower region fat. I'm not going to do it. I plan on leaning up some more for LC's contest, but once that passes i'm hitting the super clean bulk.

So, that's that :).

Okay, here's the deal. I'm jumping back on the cut, but a very slow one. I will be taking in about 100g carbs a day...40g upon waking, and 60g PWO. And that's it (cept for a few trace carbs). I want to have a full set of abs. I dont want to be fat. I'm sick of this lower belly fat. Only thing i'm worried about is that i'm getting a little bit obsessed about this. I dont want to lose anymore muscle either, so i'll be carbing up one day per week. Hopefully that'll help. Lemme know what yall think about this. I want to get this body fuggin cut, and your help is MUCH appreciated. Gimme some ideas to go along with this.

I think after a long cut you should take a break since its not great to be in a calorie deficiet for too long or else bye bye muscle.

I've cut roughly 35lbs as of now.

I'd say i have 10 more to go, but am just going to do it ultra slow. I def. got super weak there for awhile. Even tools like LSU, danj, and DK passed me :D

Yeah, but there's no way you should be losing over 30 lbs for that amount of definition. If you have to drop 35lbs to lose 3% bodyfat then something is getting dicked up. Just sayin'

Same thing happened on my first cut. I was 188 @18%, which is 38lbs of fat. I dropped over 30lbs yet still barely broke single digits on bodyfat.

He's definately leaned out, but for the amount of weight lost, the results should be more dramatic. Not being mean at all, just being honest.

good point, but now I gotta ask everyone how do you measure muscle loss? I've dropped from 206 down close to 190, during this period I actually got stronger on most of my lifts and my arms stayed the same size.. still no full ab definition though

of course I didnt do keto though, just alternated lower/higher carb days depending on if I worked out

The only way to truely know is to get accurate BF measurements before and after. Once you know your LBM and fat mass before/after you can do the simple math.

I'm far from happy with my bench, as it's my worst lift by far. But i'm working hard on bringing it up. I feel strong with teh bb curls tho :D

Arms are ~15.75 cold and 16.25 pumped......still got teh girly arms...but theyre cut mf'ers :D

I'm gonna cut till i'm happy...and that's when i got all this fat around the midsection gone and 6 full very visable abs.

I'm done doing the hard cutting though, so i should be able to make gains in the gym. Just a very slow cut from here on out...timed carbs is the plan.

word yo that worked for me, I did higher carb on workout days and lower carb on off days.. I got alot of strength on the cut

So i did some type of back workout today. I dont really feel like posting it cause i left all my gear at the house by accident so wasnt able to do half of the **** i was supposed to do.


I did a bunch of BW hammer chins, T-Bar chest supported rows with 3 plates, BTN pulldowns, Leaning back pulldowns, and some hammer strength high rep rows. Also did hypers and face pulls to finish off.

Wasnt a bad workout really, just kinda pissed i had to change **** up.


Anywho, that's that.

Shoulders/tri's tomorrow :)

Soooooooooooo i stuffed myself last night at a buffet. My mom was out of town so dad invited me. I fuggin killed it. Desert and all lol. Hangs were hard today cause i was so full still this morning. Woke up over 200lbs lol. Killed cardio though.

They had a BP and Deadlift meet at my gym today. There were some damn impressive lifts. One big dude BP'ed 455x10, another BP'ed 365x17. Saw a guy open with 560, dunno what he went for later on. I wish my back had been well, cause i would of taken the deadlift meet, as there was no one pulling anything over 5 plates. In fact, only one guy pulled 405 lol. But all the big guys only did the BP meet. They had a curling contest too lol, but i didnt stay for that.

Anywho, heading to Carowinds theme park with muh girl this afternoon....gonna kill some coasters :cool:

Good stuff on seated barbell Press. Felt strong. I seem to be taking on another ailment. My damn right elbow is absolutely killing me on all tricep involved exercises. I tried to do some decline lying tri extensions today, and almost died teh pain was so bad. The cable pressdowns and OH Extensions were done with light weight and higher reps simply cause of the unbearable elbow pain. No sure why i threw on 2 plates for cgbp. I seem to be getting off of my plan too easily...like i'm just not thinking or something.

Anywho, a decent w/o i guess..

Yeah i know which exercises aggrivate it. Any type of extension type exercise kills em...or long head exercise...Skulls absolutely kill em, and they're one of my fav exercises.

Ok, so i'll drop all extension exercises for awhile...i hate to do it cause they're the best tricep exercises imo..but injuries ftl

I'm basically trying to hit a new 5RM each w/o on the big four. Of which i can only do 2 now lol...sucks!

Back's been feeling good lately though, thinking about trying some light back squats tomorrow.

I'll be ramping up at 10% to finally hit my 5RM number.

hehe..technically it's only a real 4 day split...i added in teh off/cardio day and grip/forearms/cardio day. The other day is completely off from the gym. Yes i will tie myself to a chair if i have to :D

Very good workout. That last set on machine hacks was a BITCH! I get down DEEP, and that first rep is an absolute bear! Got all 5 reps...the machine tops out at 400, so shouldnt be too long till i hit that. This thing nails my quads hard too. Great strength on every exercise. I was VERY strict with all my curling today. Lots of volume there.

I plan to stick to my reps and weights from now on. FOCUZ IRONMANN1!! lolz :p

I hate planning out routines personally. I just pick what bodyparts to do certain days, and then go in and do it. Does it work good? Yeah. Is it the best way to do it? I highly doubt it, but it's how I like designing a routine.:D

Update on 11-OXO

I'm officially pissed i spent money on this supplement. I bumped to 600mg today in an effort to feel SOMETHING. I'm 14 days in, and can tell nothing (zilch, 0, kill me, wtf?, omg,). Maybe i'm seeing a bit of a strength gain :confused: as i've set a couple pressing PR's...but ultimately i think that's due to diet. Oh well, ya win some ya lose some :p....but i've still got a couple weeks to go, so maybe the best is yet to come (wishful thinking) :D

well, with it not being methylated, people are saying it takes a minimum of two weeks to fully get in your system. I havent given up on it yet...maybe the next two weeks are gonna blow muh socks off :D

But yeah, i wouldnt buy 11oxo...too much good stuff out there that we KNOW works.

Phera-plex is teh ****...absolutely knocked muh sock off, but I lost my virginity to it :D (got 3 bottles of it stashed :D)

Sometimes when I'm going to bed at night, I think to myself "Raul", because that's what I like to call myself, "why did A judge ruled Monday in favor of a dry cleaner that was sued for $54 million over a missing pair of pants. The owners of Custom Cleaners did not violate the city's consumer protection law by failing to live up to Roy L. Pearson's expectations of the 'Satisfaction Guaranteed' sign once displayed in the store window, District of Columbia Superior Court Judge Judith Bartnoff ruled. 'A reasonable consumer would not interpret 'Satisfaction Guaranteed' to mean that a merchant is required to satisfy a customer's unreasonable demands' or to agree to demands that the merchant would have reasonable grounds for disputing, the judge wrote. Bartnoff ordered Pearson to pay the court costs of defendants Soo Chung, Jin Nam Chung and Ki Y. Chung. Pearson, an administrative law judge, originally sought $67 million from the Chungs, claiming they lost a pair of trousers from a blue and maroon suit, then tried to give him a pair a pair of charcoal gray pants that he said were not his. He arrived at the amount by adding up years of alleged law violations and almost $2 million in common law fraud claims. ill be doing it on the road in front of our house. its a private road so no traffic really

sprint....walk till i can breath right again, sprint again. probably for 10 minutes for my first run.

ill be doing it on off days. for me, LI cardio sucks and never really did ****

haha just hold onto the handle bars if you think you're gonna collapse. Its great but it depletes your legs so much...killer of leg days.

I dont feel it much in the calves...maybe I'm doing them wrong. I've seen ppl step sideways on it...probably to hit more calf even tho it seems so awkward.

Yeah, I remember slippy talking about how the excercise bike is a bad choice for HIIT because it's too glycogen depleting. Once the resistance gets too high it's like doing a series of heavy leg presses. Basically, your legs give out before you tax your anaerobic system enough.
