Good news of the day, my parents received an offer on their second business, they are going nuts over what they are offered. They basically thought it would be half of what it is, needless to say, I think they'll say yes :D

They will probably officially retire and travel as of July and they are only 50 and 55! :eek:

That's a great life!

Oh and my 21 yo brother just made an offer on a house!
I hope they accept it!
He's off to a good life if he's a owner already at this young age!
Now he needs a girlfriend (hint Adrienne!! ;))

OHHHH no no no I love leg day... legs are "really" done on day one, day two is just so complicate with all the weights and inclinations changes that I feel I'm loosing time, I'll have to talk to my coach about this.

I got to the gym early this morning and did 40 on the elliptical

Then this later on:

Day three: (arms, abs)

A1 - Power ups
2 x 6 @ 40 lbs
2 x 8 @ 40 lbs
(stable & easy today so I added 2 reps)

A2 - Close grips and overhead combo (skullcrushers to triceps extension press to bench press)
4 x 6 @ 50 lbs
(stable)

B1 - Zottman Fat curl
4 x 8 @ 10 lbs
(minus 2 lbs... nothing else available)

B2 - DB Spider curl
4 x 6 @ 15 lbs
(3 lbs more)

C1 - Dips
2 x 6 @ BW
2 x 5 1/2 @ BW
(very hard again)


C2 - Lying triceps extension
4 x 10 @ 20 lbs
(8 more lbs... I think I've been lazy before :confused:)

Today I only did 20 on the elliptical, I was soooo tired after shooting Bridge, but the results were all worth it, she looked stunning especially since she's wearing my outfits :D

Me and Brige know each other very well, we were pretty much on the same level competition wise except that she's in the tall class, I'm in the short, she has a great midsection... and I'm better in the lower body.

I think we would be competing against one another if it wasn't for Rockwell...not that I regret anything, au contraire ;)
It's the best thing I've ever done. But I like seeing improvement in people I know well and as I said shooting her will be good for her self-esteem



Love the update pic, but it's pretty easy to tell it's not really you. I don't think you'd be caught dead in that outfit...

Good news of the day my brother Sam's offer has been accepted, he's moving in his new house on Sept 1rst

I forgot to say that my body doesn't seem too happy... both knees hurt, my sciatic is acting up and yesterday the nerve on the right side of my neck started to hurt... but this morning it was on the other side? :confused:

I think I might need a bit more potassium to help with the cramping, anyway I'm seeing my coach in two days, I will discuss this with her.

I initially thought it wasn't doing anything and I stopped and developed problems with my knee. I resumed, and -- voila -- my knee is better. I am not planning on stopping again.

The bad news... my new neighbors .. the one who moved in about a month or 2 ago are already getting on my nerves!
Their dog barks ALL the frigging time! I'm about to lose it!

On top of it, they are so messy!! This is a nice neighborhood, this is why we move here, well they make it look like a trailer park with all their stuff all over the darn place! the Lady frigging yells all the time, imagine... yelling yelling... barking barking!!!

I'm NOT happy!

It's weird. For me and my use of Hyaluronic Acid, it worked great almost immediately and now after weeks of usage it does nothing for me. :(

I even came off for a week and then started again and still no results.

And sorry about the neighbors. I went through that for a while in my last house. I'm sure you are bigger than they are so go over and politely kick down the door and kick their ass! Then leave them a pie or something as a welcome to the neighborhood. :D

Not sure how things are done up there, but do you have a neighborhood association? Most suburban neighborhoods in my area have covenances that prohibit such thing. If so, notify your association and they should send the neighbors a letter to kindly put their dog in at night.

Oh I can relate to your neighbor problem Josie. The Beverly Hillbillies moved in across the street from us (from West Virginia) and man have they made a mess of the neighborhood with all their crap. The kept getting written up for junk vehicles and stuff so they put up a tall 6' privacy fence so that they could just add more junk and hide it. Then they pulled up a few months ago in thier pick'em'up truck pulling a trailer with this 'lean-to' type of building, took down part of the fence just to back it up in there...just dropped it off and there it sets now. (storage for more junk). I should get a pic sometime and post it....LMAO Especially the people...oh my...Can't tell if this one overly obese person is a guy or a woman....LOL. Good luck

It's weird. For me and my use of Hyaluronic Acid, it worked great almost immediately and now after weeks of usage it does nothing for me.

I even came off for a week and then started again and still no results.

So many things do that to me too, it's like my body gets used too fast, anyway, I'll try and I'll see.

Not sure how things are done up there, but do you have a neighborhood association? Most suburban neighborhoods in my area have covenances that prohibit such thing. If so, notify your association and they should send the neighbors a letter to kindly put their dog in at night.

So I had my evaluation yesterday!

I'm down to 19.4 % BF (2.3% in 4 weeks)... which is good BUT it's on 155 lbs, I'd rather have it on 130 lbs so I still look too fat but my coach doesn't want me to loose too fast and be flat on stage! and she is absolutely right of course!

The amazing part is that I have put on 10 lbs of muscle since January! My back is my best improvement so far, and based on last month's pic, I'm extra wide now, which will help my waist appear smaller (me likey)

She has tweaked my diet... and I look like a drugstore with all the supps I have to take now! I'll even need an agenda (NOT kidding).

I'll have the new training next Wednesday, in the meantime I think I'll take it easy this week at the gym as I feel weak and tired and I would like to start the new routine on a high note.

So that's it!

I'm off to your journals now :D

Josie, it sounds like you are rockin and rollin! Do you find it hard taking that many supps? For me, it gets so tedious taking just a few supps, I cannot imagine taking a whole bunch.

So today I assisted to the FCPAQ Provincial competition.

It was simply amazing! The caliber was great, especially when it came to men.

At one point in the super duper heavy division LOL, 10 guys walked on stage... when the 9th showed up (just walking, not even posing) the whole audience started to cheer! He was such a beast ... taller by a foot then the others AND perfectly built!

Right then and there, we all knew who the winner was!.

I've learned extremely funny gossips about my stalker but I wont be such a bad mouth and spread it! :D

Let's just say I had an amazing day but no training today!

LOL well the one arm pull-ups are easier than expected (I nearly fell of my chair when my trainer showed me my training) since I put the opposite hand on my forearm I can use it to lift me as well.

Hiya Joc, even if they are really time consuming, I love unilateral movements, they really help improve symmetry. When you use both arms at the same time, regardless of how much attention you pay to form and how strict you are, the strong side of your body is going to do more work. Unilateral movements will help close the gap between the strong and weak sides, and make you more symmetrical in strength as well as appearance.

So I skipped Gym this morning, I'll see if I go later on today or not.
My legs are still sore and I'm not really in a hurry to suffer again :D

I haven't really been following my diet lately and I need to get back on track. I also received a bad comment this Saturday and my self-esteem kinda suffered although I don't think it was meant as an in insult... it was more a comment that came from within (a guy looked at me and said "You train?" (with a really puzzled look) Now since he's a 130 lbs gay guy who clearly doesn't train, I won't let it get to me!!!

But I took time to think about my future as a fitness/figure competitor. I wasn't sure if after the Vegas show I would still have it in me compete. Especially since I'm going back to work in November and I'll only be able to work in the AM, where the last month before a show I need to train twice a day.

Anyhoo, while I was watching the comp, I realized I still very much want to compete, I guess that I was seeing myself as very out of shape between comps (which obviously would be a problem) but since I'm not the type of girl who only wants to be in shape during competition, this is a year round thing for me, I don't see how it would be a problem.

I think I based the level of difficulties on two girls I know who really let themselves go in between comps.

So anyway I decided that I'll do Figure at the Vegas comp. and will do both Figure and Fitness at the ProGym cup this November, those 2 comps will serve as practice rounds for the Montreal & Provincial competitions I intend to win next summer.

It will leave me enough time to fine tune my physique for each show and gain extraordinary stage confidence.

So that was my enlightenment of the week :D

Oh and good news of the day:
This photographer (http://www.scottapplebyphotography.com/open.php)said he likes my look and would possibly want to work with me!!
I've always loved his work and he has also worked with my friend Michele.

I had the same experience a few weeks ago. I went into GNC to buy some multivitamins and the sales girl looked at me and asked if I was an athlete...Now did she mean "you are so wussy looking, I'd be shocked if you could pick up a shoe let alone weights" or did she mean "damn you look good, you must do this professionally" My brain says she meant the first, but my ego sure likes the second option.


But I took time to think about my future as a fitness/figure competitor. I wasn't sure if after the Vegas show I would still have it in me compete.

Put it this way, if you even thought about quitting, I'd move to Montreal and do some motivational yelling at you until you went to the gym just to get me to shut up!

Today is an off day. Nico's trying to have the US citizenship for me and Rockwell, keep your fingers crossed for us (might be easier for Rocco than me though!)

I still have pain pretty much everywhere, a friend of mine suggested I get tested for Fibromyalgia, I didn't know what it was, so I searched the symptoms on Web MD... and well I have everything! But I'm also a hypochondriac :D
I do hope it's just fatigue causing it all but I'm a bit scared, I made an appointment for August. Let's hope all the pain goes away before then.

It's my mother's birthday tomorrow so my brothers came over so we could take a picture for her.... we're not sure which one we want to give her :D

Today is an off day. Nico's trying to have the US citizenship for me and Rockwell, keep your fingers crossed for us (might be easier for Rocco than me though!)

AHHH Thanks Darren! My mom LOVED the second pic... but cried for the first, and also LOVED the iPod we got her, I previously loaded it with music because she's a bit technologically challenged :D

This training is really all about unilateral movements, I can see the difference!!!!!!

The One arm pull-ups aren't that bad, I'll try to film them eventually, since I do them assisted (I could never do them unassisted!) It all works well.

HEy CC... it's Bad BUT I have a new butt pain that makes me forget about it!

Ok I'll make a fool of myself once again... here's a little story:

My hubby and his friend gotta got drunk one night a long time ago...and once Nico went to bed, the other guys started using a black marker to change everything in the house (and some outside)...

The Yokohama tires became Yocomama
The Mars candy bar became an Arse bar
The Rub A535 became Rub Ass

The later stuck and we still call it Rub Ass (silly I know) but we say it so much, that it's only Rub Ass for us, once in the drugstore, my hubby said very loudly, "Do we need any Rub Ass?" I started laughing but my hubby (so used to saying it) did not realize what was wrong.

Anyhoo, last night he was rubbing my lower back and accidentally rub me right over the crack :eek: I told him to be careful because this stuff is abrasive!!!
and did not realize that some got stuck :rolleyes: .... well I now have a very bad burn between the two cheeks :D Not deep down (THANK GOD) but just enough to be extremely uncomfortable when I sit!

So now the Rub Ass really deserve it's name :D and I look stupid once again!

Currently, Rub A535 has been released in a variety of products: Originally, it was produced in a particular white cream, carrying a rather offensive medical odour. Recently, the name was also given to a line of dual action back patches that change temperature (known as Hot-Cold patches). Also, an improved cream was also developed, claiming to be odourless, differing from their normal cream, which carries the same smell as most topical anagesics

Before I start.... let me say I had one of the worse day ever!
Everything went wrong... computer problems... daycare problems (I CANT WAIT FOR THE REGULAR GIRL TO COME BACK :mad: )

I went to 2 stores... I needed 2 things only...guess what neither store had what I needed.. I came back home and vowed to stay put until tomorrow.

I got this call at 6:03 tonight ... when I answered the phone the guy requested to speak with **last name** Rockwell, (we have a strange last name, people never know how to pronounce it although I'm sure it's common in the US)
I told him with my best piss off voice that Rockwell **Last Name** couldn't come to the phone because he's only 8 months :mad:
I was sure he was a telemarketer... well the guy started laughing and ask to speak with his mother then... still in a very bad mood I asked what he wanted. Well turned out it's the passport office telling me they are FINALLY sending his passport over ( it's been 19 weeks!!)

Needless to say I was VERY nice after that .... and this is only good news of the day!

and my **hum** burn is a second degree burn.... do I need to say ouch??

The thing with a **free** health care, is that people not really sick end up going for nothing.... so you always wait between 2 and 8 hours before you finally see a doc, do I need to say that unless I'm close to dying...I never go!

My son's doc is also a family friend so when I need something I call him... but in all honesty, I don't want him to see my butt! :D

I'm down to 17.8% BF (still have 28.48 lbs of fat on me!!)

My carbs have taken a significant drop! (I'm allowed less that 50 g a day from now on :()

No more dairy... and only one portion of fruit in my PostWorkout Shake....
and 5-6 hours of cardio on a empty stomach per week! :(

I act like I'm sad but I was actually looking forward to that :D

Yup...seems like it! I guess they didn't have enough time to prepare the whole show and competitors usually start preparing a lot more than 2 months in advance... since the show was not even officially announced, I gather not many would have registered :rolleyes:

But again... being told 8 weeks prior that it's not happening I feel a bit let down... a show demands a lot of preparation... a lot of money... and much more!!, I know I'll have more time to be ready...which means an even better body BUT I cant help feeling disappointed

Well I decided not to tell my coach about the pushed back date for at least 2 weeks, so yes, that'll mean I'll be mad at you if you pronounce Ice cream of McD again :D
but she might add a bit more carbs and reduce the cardio once I tell her.
