i'm a female looking to lose 10-15 pounds and tone up. i'm not a bodybuilder and do mostly cardio, swimming and running, and don't lift a lot of weights, so i'm not looking to get big. what's the best thing for me to eat after i workout? thanks

Some simple carbs and protein would be the best. I usually have some turkey or chicken and some fruit.

Have a meal that's about 60-70% carbs. (preferably simple carbs. to replenish your carb. stores) and 30-40% protein......don't worry about fats at this meal since that will slow down the absorption rate. Some fruit and lean protein source would be perfect!
