in the past ive spent loads on weight gainers and they do work but cost alot so now i just buy some desent proten and make my own.
1scoop pro powder.
30g peanut butter.
300ml semi skimmed.
100g oats.
1 banana.
throw in a blender and hey presto it gives approx 50g protein, 100g of good carbs, 15g of good fat.
how many calories?

Actually I've been wondering, if you go down the 'homemade' route, how long does it all stay blended for? I mean like how long long can honey and peanut butter spend in milk before it sticks at the bottom of a shaker?

Cytogainer by far the best for the price
protein factorys big blast is the best weight gainer but its expensive.

Good choice on makin your own. You can make it as calorie dense as you want and you can make it taste however you want. Plus you save money too

The stuff makes me feel great, I usually take it in the morning. Weight gains? Nothing to write home about. Might be my pathetic workouts...

I have had the vanilla carmel, chocolate malt and chocolate mint.
If you like the combination of chocolate and mint than it will be the best protein shake you have ever had. It tastes exactly like those andes chocolates that come in a green wrapper that you find in some hotels and restaurants. However neither the VC or CM are too bad so it is preference.

would have to be True Mass by BSN... tastes great, has ovr 40g if Protein per serving. Even a hard-gainer will put on some serious weight with this product!

I'm gonna start with Universal's Real Gains tomorrow. It sounds pretty promising.
52g of protein, 88g of carbs with only 5g of sugar plus Glutamine and BCAAs, I think you can't ask much more from a Weight Gainer.

I'm using cytogainer right now too. Banana Creme. ITs pretty good and I'm making some decent gains on it. I think it's best among the lean gainers.

My first gainer was cytosport cookies n creme. I packed on weight but had a hard time getting it down. Next I tried True Mass strawberry which tasted amazing but just wasn't worth the price. Then I got cytosport banana and strawberry. I didnt think either tasted that great so I always did two scoops of each in a shake which was tolerable. I just started Up Your Mass vanilla and it does down like sand and leaves me crazy bloated.

MHP products are no good at all imo. If it goes down at all like Probolic-SR, I feel for ya man. Like watered-down chalk... Reps for going through a tub of any MHP product!

Well after reading all of what everybody had to say, I'm ordering a 6lb tub of cytogainer tonight. Hopefully itll be here before my N-Large II runs out.
I've been taking the nlarge (not very regularly, though) for a couple months now, but the place I get it from jacked the price up 10 bucks. So even though its worked pretty well for me (130 to 145 in a couple months), I'm gonna give cytogainer a try after all the good news im hearing.
The only thing that bugs me is that it has creatine in it, which im not a huge fan of. So I have a question: Has anybody used cytogainer for a while, and then gone off it? If you have, did you 'deflate' at all.. like some people say you do when you get off creatine?

i was iffy about getting cyto cuz of creatine, but it only has 3grams per serving. thats not alot. from what i read so i don't think you have anything to worry about.

i have used 3 tubs of cytogainer myself thats roughly 6lbs x 3
i did get a deflated feel after coming off it... it must be the creatine.. im sure.. anyway jst wantd to let people know all in all cytogainer is one of the best weight gainers out there.. definately does its job and tastes phenomenal

just got my first batch of RealGains in the mail yesterday. Chocolate tastes awsome. im hoping to get from 142 to 150 in about 4 weeks, then hopefully to about 160 by the beginning of May. ive gone from 135 to 142 in about 3 weeks using only ON 100% whey, so hopefully RG puts helps get me there. ill let you know how effective this stuff is in the coming weeks,

what i did was,
i took 4 scoops in the morning
just took whey shake for post workout
4 scoops after dinner or before sleep.
also since cytogain had some creatine in it, i drank about 2-3 bottles of water a day.
i gained 10lbs in a month. i'm not sure if its healthy to gain this fast though.
started out at 154, i am currenty at 164/5.
im just trying to get 175 180 and start cutting.

Out of all the weight gainers I have tried (True Mass, IsoGainer, Mammoth 4000 and Cytogainer) I would have to say my favourite was IsoGainer. 600 calories when you mix it in water, which it reccomends but for some reason it tastes like ass in milk...
How long do you have to take a weightgainer( cytogainer for example) to see results? I'd be using it in addition tyo my diet, not as a meal replacement. It seems like you'd have to go through a couple of tubs to see any results, and $50 a tub is expensive for a 9 day supply.

It's not. Well, it can be. The 6 lb tub that I just bought has 18 servings at 4 scoops each. It cost me 38 bucks total.
However, the crazy directions on the tub say to take 3 servings a day. I take it with milk, and that would be almost 2700 calories a DAY.. I think thats over-doing it, so I think im just gonna take 1 a day. But I guess if you did it by the directions, you'd be paying 40 bucks for a 6 day supply. Crazy.
How often/much does everyone else that's on cytogainer take? I think 1 serving a day is what I'll stick with, but what's everyone else use?

"Up Your Mass" is actually a fantastic product, I highly recommend it. It has an awesome carb content. I put on 10 pounds in 2 months and was using the Vanilla flavor. I recommend splitting the serving size up though, so mix 2 scoops (instead of 4) with 12-16 ounces of milk and it tastes like a vanilla milkshake. I made a mistake though and recently bought at 5lb tub of the cinnabun flavor, it tastes great if you actually like cinnamon, but I don't. Anyone want to buy it off me, there's only 4 scoops missing, I'll hook ya up for cheap, PM me if you're interested, I have PayPal.

i just used the GNC brand weight gainer 2200 and i gained about 10 pounds in one week and this is after I've been trying to gain for the past year and a half off of other stuff. It took me a year and a half to gain 20 pounds then I tried this and gained 10 in a week. It's only 5 servings so I cut them in half and made it 10 servings... i couldn't believe the results

I've used the GNC 2200 man and trust me if you don't keep your foot on the gas you're going to lose all of that weight. Yes, gaining all that weight so quick was amazing to me but it equally sucked when I lost all of it when I got off of it. Thankfully I then upped by whole food intake after quittin git and gained back the weight I lost AND KEPT IT.

Hello everyone,
i was just curious to all the threads and post dealing with bulking and making use of weight gainers to increase in mass or what not. I currently weigh around 220-228 (guessing fat + water weight + muscle = 228 and 190 lean mass not sure though). The weird thing is a vast majority of the guys in this forum, that are around my height (5'9"), weighing around 190-230lbs are all muscle and yet with me i don't look that big (look at my stats on bodyspace) some of my friends who are actual bodybuilders from where i live have said i just have some undeveloped muscle somewhere (not sculpted out) or i just basically have big bones or something, coz basically they say and i could see for myself that im not in any way FAT maybe just a little chubby but overall they are just confused to why i weigh so much for my height lol. I have read that in order to gain mass you got to eat a lot which i do (clean food) and taking up weight gainers (like True mass or Mass tech). See if i take up any weight gainers i would just gain more weight hopefully mass, but in actuality i would want to maintain or maybe lose 10-15lbs but build a leaned out muscled body (gain mass and size and not so much with water/fat weight)
My question is should i get a weight gainer, if i want to gain more mass? or would i just be ok with the regular whey like Nitrotech hardcore or syntha 6 or probolic SR, to name a few??
Im currently bulking with solid clean food 5x a day and regular whey protein shakes 2x a day
carbohydrates intake per day 380-420grams
protein intake per day 320-350grams
calorie intake 3500-4100
my current weight 220-230
Any good advice would be a very big help thanks!

I dunno man, i didn't lose any of it after I quit taking it and it REALLY helped my appetite and become able to eat more (a whole meal more per day), which may be a reason why I didn't lose it, but I do see what you're saying. plus you need to have a sweet metabolism or all the weight you gain is going to be all fat.

I've just started taking ON Serious mass (1 scoop in the morning with breakfast (oats) and 1 scoop in the evening with dinner) and ON 100% Whey (2 scoops post workout) all with semi-skimmed milk (about 3 pints per day)
Do people think that will be enough?
I eat very well too - 2x tuna roll & 2x apples for lunch, dinner will be pasta/rice/lentils/potato with bacon/chicken/fish/eggs

Damn right!!! I just got mine in the mail today from BB.com. It's sooooooo good. The chocolate malt is good, and definitely drinkable but I don't necessarily look forward to it. I'm gonna have a hard time not drinking too much of the mint!
Over the past (almost) 2 weeks I've been drinking at least one a day with a decent bulk diet (I usually get 5 meals a day including a cytogainer or the TrueMass I just finished). I've gained 4 pounds in just under 2 weeks.
For months I only had one post-workout but still wasn't getting enough protein or calories. Bumping everything up has helped tremendously.
TrueMass chocolate tastes very good too but has too much sugar per serving for my tastes.

Yeah I used two tubs worth, mostly last summer. First time I used it...wow. I never felt so horrible in my life. But it was my first experience with a weigh gainer. You should get more used to it as you take it more.

Out of all the weight gainers I have tried (True Mass, IsoGainer, Mammoth 4000 and Cytogainer) I would have to say my favourite was IsoGainer. 600 calories when you mix it in water, which it reccomends but for some reason it tastes like ass in milk...
I also liked IsoGainer, I thought it tasted like @ss even mixed with water lol...good gainer though, would try again sometime

Yeah I used two tubs worth, mostly last summer. First time I used it...wow. I never felt so horrible in my life. But it was my first experience with a weigh gainer. You should get more used to it as you take it more.

Yeah im kinda pissed i bought it but i got it on sale with a tub of some whey protein payed about 50 bucks for both of em, if i had a blender im sure it would be ok and i only tried it with water today im gunna give it a go with milk. Im sure it will do its job, i just dont think ill ever be looking forward to taking my daily doses of weight gainer.

gnc's 2200 is a great gainer and it's worth the nastyness and bloating. just take one big scoop after every meal, not 3 like they suggest. i gained almost 10 pounds in a week with it. it truly works

Because not everyone can gain weight that easily man. I can barely see any gains from anything without mass protein gainers, because my metabolism is VERY high. It's all about your metabolism and your personal goal of how much weight you really want to put on. Many people use mass gainers, because you can put on weight faster to get to lifting more weight faster then after you reach your goal just cut the weight you gain in your stomach off and try to keep the weight everywhere else. well at least thats just me.

You are right i mixed it with whole milk and it felt like i was swallowing led. Not to mention the harrible taste to go along with it. I think i made a big mistake getting vanilla it doesnt mask the taste well at all i cant even taste the flavor, but i have put on about 2 pounds in around the 4 days ive been using it. Its doing what i want making me look thicker.

okay bought True Mass serving 66grams of protein...800 calories in 16oz of milk with 3 scoops Serving Size 3 scoops (145g)
when you put 3 scoops on 16oz of milk how much protein you gettin from that?
some dude told me you divide 66 to 3 scoops so 66 divide 3 scoops you get 22 grams of protien in 16oz
but when you divide 2 scoops...66 divide in 2 scoops you get 33 grams of protien doesn't sound right i don't know lol

I do know Cytogainer has more creatine and glutamine in it. There are a number of differences dude. But they are relatively small differences, and at 120 lbs any weight gainer is going to help you out.

I just got MHP's "Up Your Mass" Vanilla flavor and using it as a nighttime right before bed shake. It doesn't interupt my sleep and I use 3 scoops (not the recommended 4, I'd rather not run out of a fricken 5lb jug that costed 35$ in 3 weeks, thanks). It tastes ALOT better than people were saying on here, I'm assuming they are using the full 4 servings and aren't using 16oz of milk.
I just dislike their claims...yah you can gain 15lbs of lean muscle in 5 weeks, if you fricken buy 3 5lb tubs and use 3 full servings a day (9 scoops!) and practically stop eating solid foods but for maybe just breakfast and dinner :P
Hmm.....that actually sounds fun and convienent as hell, I would try it if I wasn't smart :P I'm sure there's some rich idiots who are doing exactly what it says on the tub out there though.

I have been taking True Mass for a while. It is pretty decent but looking to see if there is anything better. I'm looking for gainer that has:
1. Blend of slow digesting AND whey protein
2. At least 600 calories if mixed with water, more with milk obviously
3. At least 40 grams of protein
4. Very low sugar.
Price is not an issue. I'm happy with True Mass but just thought I'd check in before I order another 5 lb tub.

I dunno man, i didn't lose any of it after I quit taking it and it REALLY helped my appetite and become able to eat more (a whole meal more per day), which may be a reason why I didn't lose it, but I do see what you're saying. plus you need to have a sweet metabolism or all the weight you gain is going to be all fat.
I have to agree with you on the appetite part! I took a shake of that in the morning and I'm hungry the whole day. Best part is that the gainer comes cheaper than the rest of the higher rated gainers.

I typically have a single serving of ON 100% Whey in the morning with my breakfast (25g protein + milk) and/or sometimes one throughout the day if I'm lacking in my protein intake for the day.

I was using a blender & single serving cup from Oster. Although I couldn't fit enough liquid to go along w/ the powder in the cup, it blended things very nicely. Some ice helps keep it cool but even then I can only fit 8-10oz of milk or water + 4 scoops of CytoGainer or TrueMass.
Lately I've been using the Blender Bottles (available on BB.com). They are perfect for 16 oz of milk + a full serving of CytoGainer and they mix things together VERY well! I actually like it better than the blender because the blender tends to make things frothy.

Ive been taking N-Large II for a couple months and made pretty good gains on it, but just switched to cytogainer a couple weeks ago cuz the place i bought nlarge from raised the price 10 bucks. And i have to say, the cytogainer Choc. Caramel Swirl tastes great, is easy to take down (2 scoops w/8 oz milk is what i do), and im getting better results than N-Large. Gained about 5 lbs in the last 2 weeks. So id try it out if youre lookin for something different, otherwise they're both great products so far IMO.

Crazy gains bro, I'm gonna give this a try, I started by taking 2 scoop servings, then realized it wasn't enough, then did 3, and only put on 3 lbs in a month (dieting wasn't constant either, because of hockey tournaments and such)

Just stick with pure whey protein man. Thats your best bet along with a high protein diet. Weight gainers are insensitive to fact the they may cause fat gain. they contain high carbs and calories which wont help the loss of unwanted fat.

I pound Cytogainer Cookies N Creme twice a day, 3 scoops with about 16-20oz of milk (I love milk). One for mid-morning and one before bed.
I'm an extremely hard gainer, but by using this I've put on about 10-12lbs of good muscle over the last 8 weeks or so, along with a pretty clean bulking diet.
I don't find the taste bad at all and digests easy although sometimes if I drink too fast in the morning I get a little tired, weird. The banana one was good for a while too.
Overall, I'm happy with Cytogainer.

Has any one else mentioned Universal Nutrition's Real Gains? I think this stuff is F'in awesome. It mixes up incredibly easy and even tastes good in water. The chocolate tastes better than any other protein i've taken. I buy it from a site that sells it for $25 for the 7 pound bucket even though i think it sells for like 60 on universal's website. I read up on some positive muscle juice reviews here and decided to go out and buy some (after wasting years of money on worthless weight gainers argh!) I've been taking muscle juice for about 2 months now and have gained 13kgs. Went from 62kgs to 75 kgs.
Gained a bit of fat in the belly because of all the sugar but have managed to gain decent lean mass at the same time..ive never been able to gain a kilo before so im pretty damn happy. Recommend it for any hardgainer out there!!
If you're eating the right food in the right amount, a decent weight gainer and some weight training - you can gain the mass you want!

i agree . you cant go wrong with cyto gainer. its a little spendy, but produces results. personally i subscribe to :" eat more gain more!" that means calories , carbs , and 1 gram of protien for every pound you weigh. 218lbs = 218 grams of protien a day.

I am about to buy 2 6lb of cytogainer. i've tried GNC 2200 b4 did gain some but i used it on n off so that was a waste of money. anyways what are some good flavors? and how should i mix this? Can I mix 1cup of 2%milk and one scoop of cyto? thats how i did it for GNC stuff 1cup milk and 1 scoop powder. And do you guise drink it like that or add fruits or w/e to it? Thanks

Chocolate Malt. It REALLY tastes like a chocolate shake. I havent tried the others because I stick with what I like. Dont get me wrong, Im sure there are other delicious flavours... I just dont wanna risk wasting my money on something gross that I wont drink.

Calories in vs Calories out dude, do what you need to to meet your goals. If you need more, add more. You aren't making the weight gainer any more 'clean'.
Milk, Oats, Peanuts, Bananas, Whey = mo' lotta clean calories, and the same effort as taking two scoops out of a tub and then adding stuff to it.

I pound Cytogainer Cookies N Creme twice a day, 3 scoops with about 16-20oz of milk (I love milk). One for mid-morning and one before bed.
I'm an extremely hard gainer, but by using this I've put on about 10-12lbs of good muscle over the last 8 weeks or so, along with a pretty clean bulking diet.
I don't find the taste bad at all and digests easy although sometimes if I drink too fast in the morning I get a little tired, weird. The banana one was good for a while too.
Overall, I'm happy with Cytogainer.
Heck yeah! I just got my tub of cytogainer yesterday and it's amazing. 580 calories and it mixes great. No blender needed

I am definitely a hard gainer, so I'm looking at getting muscle juice. I just have one question:
is Muscle Juice lactose free, or close to it?
I'm having difficulty finding the answer to that. I'm lactose intolerant, so I would hate to buy 10 lbs of this stuff and have to pop a lactaid before every shake.

Good thing for you nooblet, cytogainer has on the outside of the tub 97 or 98% lactose free. I hope this is enough for you to try the stuff. I have heard nothing but good reports about it, and I am trying it for myself now.

Okay... so I just got my tub of Muscle Juice. I haven't taken weight gainer in ages but my first impression was "Thank God!" Gone are the days of 32oz. per serving. 18oz. for Muscle Juice is much better. As for taste... I am very impressed! Chocolate tastes basically like chocolate. Who ever said this stuff is too sweet is weak, period, it tastes no more sweet than my ON 100% Whey Gold Standard. One thing you must buy if you take powdered supplements is a "Blender Bottle", it's the name of the company as well I believe. Look it up and buy it now! It has a little metal whisk ball inside of it that blends the stuff to perfection. I will post my progress in time. As of today I am 6'1 and 156lbs, 29 yrs old. We'll see how it does after this tub.

Yah I concur here. I'm no expert but I just plan on drinking it with my meals. 1,000 calories per serving and they want you to take 2-3 servings a day???? Seriously now, just eat clean and half the servings and you should be alright.

It doesn't bloat me, in the morning I take a shake at 9:30 and usally I feel a bit tired, I don't feel full, just tired, maybe a sugar crash, who knows...
Funny... I was just going to report. I drank my full serving approx. 30 minutes ago and I feel neither bloated nor full. Actually the opposite, I feel fine and could probably drink another one if I had to or eat a complete meal.
Usally it takes me 2 hours to start feeling hungry after a full serving, sometimes less, and sometimes I'll eat something with the shake

Not really, high protein is good, some say when bulking to decrease the number of protein, but I usally try to get 1.5 grams per lb, so 267 grams for me
I guess since extra protein is filling, this would cause you to eat less carbs and fats, maybe that is why they recommend lowering protein intake
Either way, it depends on how much your able to eat and the time you have to eat

Here's what I recommend if you want something pre bed..
Can of tuna or any other good protein source + cottage cheese or peanut butter
Food > a bunch of different supplements

i have the same stuff, what i do is i have one full serving throughtout the day but i just split it up with 2 scoops after workout and then two before bed.

I tried Cytogainer vanilla and right now chocolate malt and they both taste horrible (I drink it with water). That being said it doesn't **** up my stomach like True Mass. I going to try Muscle Juice next.

I've been bulking HARD for 2 years on and off mostly on and i've found a few gainers that definately help... True Mass from ON Nutrition has a good 2-1 carb to protien ratio and tastes decent, only problem is mixing it all up. As with most gainers they clump and it can feel like your eating your shake rather than drinking it ;) This is opposite of HDT's Solid Gains. Mixes smoothly and tastes good. Not too haevy but it has 900 calories w/ a relatively low fat index, 2-1 carb to protien ratio... I usually add a little flaxseed or olive oil in my morning gainer shake and postworkout gainer. Long story short since November 04 - present the lean mass is +44 lbs. Never had much bodyfat so I was pretty little then, just pay attention to your timing and very little will get put towards fat.
I think you may mean BSN's True mass. ON makes Serious MASS. As far as my opinion on gainers, I would have to say Real Gains Chocolate.

BSN True Mass is one of the best, and prices have come down recently in most places for BSN products. Minor quibble can make you feel bit bloated if you take just before workpout , best 2-3 hours before, and can with some give you violent sustained flatulence often involuntary so if you are in gym can be embarrassing. Ifd you're not quite big guy full serving might be too much, but if you do take it bfore workout leave 2- 3 hours at least to really absorb it & not feel bloated when you hit gym.

i ran out of muscle juice the other day so i decided to experiment with making my own gainer. Cut up some fresh strawberries, cup of oats, bananas, 2 ts of peanut butter, yogurt, ice, and 12 ounces of whole milk. Tasted pretty delicious although it is a bit time consuming but it taste was wonderful and is proably alot healther for me...

You have better choices than MuscleMilk, even if you decide to not make your own. MuscleMilk is the candy bar of the protein market. I would opt for having some fruits or whole grain crackers/breads along with a quality protein powder and milk, maybe some fish oil caps or/and nuts to round it off.. You don't have to make a shake out of it, just eat and drink. :D
I use a lot of protein powder, depending on my needs I have some 'sides' with it.. Gaining weight isn't a problem for me, well it is, but different than most of you :P

Why aren't you taking it like you're supposed to? 1 shake 30 - 45 minutes pre-workout, then another 45 - 60 minutes post-workout.

I've read my whole tub top to bottom and nowhere does itsay to take it pre workout and post workout
The only suggested use was this: take 1-3 times daily.
That's all I could find on my tub
Besides, why on earth would I take it pre and pwo, muscle juice is probobly the WORST gainer you could take post workout, consuming 18 grams of fat pwo is behond idiotic imo

i work out but ive never really messed with any suplement before so im pretty new to this. i got a lot of info just from this thread, the closest that i ever came to supplements was eating protein bars from costco. didnt do nothing for me and the taste was awful :(
but i checked Pure Mass 2600 and it says it carries over 70 grams of protein if mixed with 2% milk. GNC actually used to carry this product but they took it off the market because a lot of grocery stores started to carry it-that's where i first found it. I talked to the guy from GNC and he told me about it and said that it'll put on weight but mostly it will be fat. he says it works at the same rate as muscle juice but has a little more sugar content, but overall more calories. any experienced people have advice about this.
im 20 years old 5'9 between 170-175 pounds looking to add 50 pounds (a lot i know but that's my long term goal)

Fat post workout is not a bad thing...not at all. I wouldn't have too too much, but I don't think there are too many studies to back up no fats post workout.

For me, no fat post or pre workout. Complex carbs pre for my workout. you can have fat pre but that doesnt cut it for me. Simple carbs post. dex sometimes, whatever i have.
I want to replenish muscle glycogen fast as i can.
Weight gain shake for me is just 100g powder oats,1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 scoop whey. works out to about 700kcals.
I'v never tried a proper gainer yet. will do some day!

It's not bad, but never has someone recommended me to eat a high number of fats pwo, never, they always recommend protein and carbs
No I'm not saying to go to that section for expert advice, I'm saying that they could explain why low fats pwo is recommended, because I'm no expert, but some guys in that section are very smart
PWO I usally have about 9 grams, because I eat oats pwo, and for 1 cup, I get 9 grams

What do you guys think of ON Serious Mass, other than the price? I've been on Muscle Juice and Muscle Milk for some time now. I'm currently on Muscle Juice and taking it once a day, and taking Optimum 100% Whey twice a day. I'm thinking of another gainer for better results.

I've read my whole tub top to bottom and nowhere does itsay to take it pre workout and post workout
The only suggested use was this: take 1-3 times daily.
That's all I could find on my tub
Besides, why on earth would I take it pre and pwo, muscle juice is probobly the WORST gainer you could take post workout, consuming 18 grams of fat pwo is behond idiotic imo
You have no clue what you're talking about do you? First of all, maybe you have an older tub that doesn't have the instruction that mine does. Mine says a shake pre and post workout.
Second, I work out hard as hell, and I lift heavy, I've been taking it pre and post workout for about a month now with water and have not gained fat. I'm up to 204lbs from 194lbs this month. But then again I eat pretty clean and get most of my fat intake from the muscle juice specifically.
Take it twice a day like I say for a month or 2 and watch your gains, you'll thank me. If you start getting fat then stop, but I guarantee you won't if you workout hard.

But all the tubs are new and are far from reaching the expiration date
Second, on BOTH new and older style tubs, NEVER did it say anywhere to take it pre and pwo
Also, I've talked to many guys and read all kinds of good articles writing by guys like Layne Norton and never did they say to eat a high number of fats pwo...
And to conclude, the instructions given on most protein tubs or any supp for that matter are often bad suggestions, hoping you will follow it, and keep buying more and more...some companies do this, not all

the best i had was prolab n-large 2.
i usually split 2 servings into 4 shakes throughout the day, so it wasn't too hard to get it all down.
food (and lots of it) is hands down the best one out there though

mix these 2 in a shaker cup with 40-60g protien and 100g carbs.

Aggravating to say the least. Anyway, taking it pre and post(many times my post shake is actually right before bed) has been working well for me.
What would you recommend then? You say you're only taking 1 a day right? Well I'm looking to gain a **** ton of bulk and weight, I want to be 215lbs by July, I am now 204. 2 full serving muscle juice shakes a day won't turn bad on me will it?

I take 2 shakes a day, but take one in the between breakfeast and lunch and the other between lunch and dinner
For pwo, I take 2 scoops of ON Whey with 250ml of oats...imo, best pwo gainer..
