I recieved my IntraXcell in the mail yesterday, and took my first dose this afternoon. I started with 4 capsules instead of the suggested 6...just to test my tolerance. I will take six tomorrow.
I felt little obvious effect, except maybe feeling hotter than usual. I expect the full dose will produce other effects.

About me

45 yrs old
6'2"
235 lbs
10% bf

I have been weight training for most of the last 30 yrs....minus 5 yrs for bad behaviour...so 25 yrs in all.
I am not strictly a bodybuilder....but I am definitely not a power lifter. Therefore I refer to myself as a weight trainer.

My workout
DAY 1

CHEST & BACK SUPERSET
Bench or Dumbbell Press (3-4x12, 10, 8, 6)
supersetted with
Wide Grip Pulldown or Chins (3-4x12, 10, 8, 6)

Dumbbell Incline Press (3-4x12, 10, 8, 6)
tri-setted with
Dumbbell Pullover (4x10)
and
Seated Lat Row (4x10)

Cable Crossovers (3-4x12)
supersetted with
One Arm Dumbbell Row (3-4x12)

Optional: Deadlift (3x10)

DAY 2

SHOULDERS
Overhead Press (3-4x8)
supersetted with
Sidearm Lateral Raise (3-4x12)

BICEPS & TRICEPS TRI-SETS
Bent Bar Curl (3-4x8-12)
tri-setted with
Close Grip Bench Press (3-4x10-12)
and
Lying Triceps Extension (3-4x10-12)

Zottman Dumbbell Curl (3-4x8-10)
tri-setted with
Dips or Triceps Press Machine (4x12)
and
Pulley Pushdowns (4x12)

DAY 3

LEGS
Standing Calf Raise (4xMax)
supersetted with
Seated Calf Raise (4xMax)

Leg Extension (4x12)
supersetted with
Leg Curl (4x10-12)

Squat (4x12, 10, 8, 6)

Stiff Legged Deadlifts (4x10)

Today I did legs and tomorrow I will start at the top, with the day 1 workout.

This is a three day split with 3 days on then a day off, followed by three days on and 2 days off, then start over.

On the off days I like to throw in some yoga......mostly Bikram style..in a hot room, really gets a flow going.

My diet is the usual stuff.
eggs, chicken, protein powder, good carbs, good fats, with, to my shame,an occasional half dozen McDonalds hamburgers..(ketchup, mustard only).

Mcdonalds hamburger facts
260 cals
9g fat 305 sat. fat
30 mg cholesterol
420 mg sodium
33 g carbs
12 g protein
Multiply 12 grams of protein x 6 = 72 grams protein.
The rest I choose not to think about. (hey...everybody has a vice)

I dont drink, smoke, or associate with women of loose morals. (wife wont let me) Never did smoke (legally)...quit drinking several years ago (much to the dismay of the local tavern and liqour store owners, who were counting on me for their retirement funds.) and the women....well......

If there are any questions or comments....feel free to post or pm.

todays workout

SHOULDERS
Overhead Press (3-4x8) 145 lbs
supersetted with
Sidearm Lateral Raise (3-4x12) 15 lbs

BICEPS & TRICEPS TRI-SETS
straight Bar Curl (3-4x8-12) 100 lbs
tri-setted with
Close Grip Bench Press (3-4x10-12) 200 lbs
and
Lying Triceps Extension (3-4x10-12) 80 lbs

Zottman Dumbbell Curl (3-4x8-10) 50 lbs
tri-setted with
Dips (4x12) body weight + 25 lbs
and
Pulley Pushdowns (4x12) 70 lbs

**I did the overhead press as part of a clean and jerk type thing.**

I took the IntraXcell about 30 minutes prior to the workout...got the pricklies again...though not as much because I took them right after a meal. (I think)
I felt energetic and experienced good pumps. I cant really say if this was due to the IntraXcell or not though. I do believe it helps energize me somewhat.

todays workout

LEGS
Standing Calf Raise (4xMax) 135 lbs

Leg Extension (4x12)
supersetted with
Leg Curl (4x10-12)

Squat (4x max) 205 lbs

Stiff Legged Deadlifts (4x10) 185 lbs

I keep the weights light on these days due to some health issues unrelated to lifting.....(ok... squating aggravates some problems on my backside). Therefore I keep it light with lots of reps...
IntraXcell 1/2 hour before workout...same good energy and pricklie feeling.
Usually my legs are sore almost immediatly after the workout, but today they do feel better. Still sore, but not as much as usual. Could be the IntraXcell....if so, it is worth the money right there. I can walk without looking like a gorilla that has survived polio.

Tomorrow is an off day....I will probably do some yoga.

squats (3x10)

Today I took off (again)
Tomorrow will be shoulders, biceps and triceps.

I have been taking the IntraXcell every day and I like it alot.
I think it is helping with endurance somewhat, the tingle helps get me going.

I have noticed no side effects (other than the tingle)...my appetite seems to have increased also, but I dont know that the IntraXcell is responsible for that.
I'm not gaining any fat, so I guess it is all good.

I didnt have a chance to lift yesterday..so it turned into a yoga day. Not lifting, but still very beneficial I believe.

Today I started fresh with...

Bench Press (3-4x12, 10, 8, 6)
supersetted with
Wide Grip Pulldown (3-4x12, 10, 8, 6)

Dumbbell Incline Press (3-4x12, 10, 8, 6)

Cable Crossovers (3-4x12)

T bar Row (3-4x12)

I have continued taking the IntraXcell and I am still sold on it.
Body weight is holding steady and though I havent checked it, I think I am losing bodyfat.
At this point, I would recommend it to anyone.

Today I went off the farm so to speak. My car was in the shop, and an old gym that I used to work out at was right down the street, so I went there while the car was being worked on. I decided to use this as a chance to do some things that I dont have the equipment to do at home.

I ended up doing
Close grip bench 3x10
barbell curls 3x 10
dips 3x 10

now for the stuff I dont usually do
Dumbell clean and jerk 4x10
rows on the Hammer strength machine 4x10
Hammer strength shoulder press 4x10

and to top it all off, a medievel torture called.......
UP AND DOWN THE RACK
this is where you do dumbell curls, starting with very light weight, for 15 reps or so, then you move up 5 lbs at a time (with little or no rest in between sets) until you can only do 2 or 3 reps.
Then you work your way back down to where you started.
Its a killer....I went from 10 lbs up to 60 and back.
22 sets in all not too sore now, so the IntraXcell must be helping (from a burn standpoint.)

We'll see how I feel tomorrow.

Sorry it has been so long between posts, it took a day or so to get back after the up and down the rack. Actually, I took two days off, then back to the regular split. I am really starting to feel this stuff working. Increased pumps, increased endurance and quicker recovery. I am going to order another bottle so we will see if the "hits keep coming" after I am done with this one. Ill be leaving for a week in Hawaii on the 13th of this month. The hotel shows a decent weight room (machines only) so I will either work out there or in town.

Pictures this weekend.

I will also continue this log through that bottle.

I have gained about two pounds, no bodyfat increase and since I dont take any form of arginine, I like the increased pump this stuff produces.

As of today,(the 11th) I have five days left in the bottle....which matches the thirty days on my calender.

I dont know about others, but for me, I think it started really kicking in around day 18 and the effects seem to be getting more pronounced (to me anyway)

I will try to post some stats before I leave and maybe sneak in an update or two while I am gone.

Ok, thanks.

Yes it has been slightly different from most of our testers, but I would say overall most of them noticed strong increases in strength/muscular endurance much quicker than 3 weeks as you mentioned.

There are many variables that could cause different rates in which people are going to start benefiting from IntraXCell.

One of the most obvious in your case, is the simple fact that you heavier at 230lbs than many if not all of our other testers and likely carry more muscle mass, especially at 10% BF :). As a result, it may take longer for your intramuscular levels of CARN to build up to a level of significance where they are effecting performance. You will likely see strong performance increases in your next bottle, likely more so than the other testers who noticed benefits earlier.

My last post was on the 11th...I apologize for the gap....heres the story.

Flew to Phoenix on the 14th, planning to lay over the night and head on to Hawaii the next day. Earthquake on the morning of the 15th...closed Honolulu airport..flight cancelled. Got copies of passports faxed to us and made a hard left turn and ended up in Puerto Vallarta.
I had three good workouts in Mexico and several mediocre ones.
I continued the IntraXcell every day and am well into my second bottle.

Stats are pretty much unchanged (as far as weights)...
gained a little bodyweight due to all inclusive resort buffets.
Once I get settled I will gather things up and start to post actual info.

Wow, sounds like you have had an interesting couple weeks, I was wandering where you were, you literally could have almost fallen off the face of the earth. ;) :)

Actually, most of the tap water in Puerto Vallarta is as pure as the water in any town in the U.S.......but not all the water comes from the municipal plant, so you have to be careful. Most, if not all the resorts and nice places to eat are o.k. Seems like the farther inland you go, the more suspect the water is.

Here are some numbers....these are from one month on IntraXcell.
These are also weights that I work out with...at least 3 sets of 6-8 reps.

bench press 265 + 10
barbell incline press 235 nc
wide grip pull down 150 nc
dumbell pull over 80 + 20
seated row 150 +10
cable cross over
(1 side at a time) 50 +10
1 arm dumbell row 75 +10
overhead press 145 nc
straight bar curl 105 +5
close grip bench 200 nc
lying triceps ext 95 +15
dips bodyweight +45 +20
standing calf raises 135 nc
squat 205 nc
stiff legged dead lifts 185 nc

My body weight went up 5 lbs +/- and my body fat stayed the same. (this has changed, a little, since my recent trip to Mexico.) I percieve myself looking more muscular in the mirror (which is my REAL guide)

The weights that stayed unchanged are unchanged by my choice, for one reason or another.
Also some of the weight increases were ready to be made before the Intraxcell, I just tend to move up very cautiously.
I feel stronger and less fatigued after a workout than before the IntraXcell and I do feel it has definite benefits.....especially for those that do not respond well to creatine.

I will be starting my winter full-body routine soon and after the second bottle of IntraXcell is finished, I will probably start cycling a month on and a month off until March, when I will start my spring program. (unless Mr. Athletic Edge has other recomendations).

I will continue to update this log...(hopefully more often) at least until finished with the second bottle, and maybe even further on to see if there is a vast reduction in gains while cycling on and off.

If you just skipped to the end of this....I THINK INTRAXCELL IS A GREAT PRODUCT AND VERY BENEFICIAL TO A BODYBUILDER OR ANY ATHLETE FOR THAT MATTER. Strength gains and greater endurance are a plus no matter what your speciality is.

Very nice, it looks like you increased the weights on almost all your exercises. You gained some lean muscle and didn't gain any fat, we can't really ask for more than that.

As for you asking about cycling recommendations, I would suggest you go on IntraXCell for three months straight than go off for 1-2 months and restart another 3 month cycle, not one month on, one month off. At this point, the research has not shown us that you need to go off beta-alanine/ IntraXCell, but its definitely beneficial to stay on it atleast 3 months continuously before you cycle off.

That would be great if you can keep us updated on your second bottle from time to time, much appreciated. :)

Thank you very much for completing this log, I know something's came up with your traveling ect.but you still stayed on IntraXCell consistently and were able to post your feedback along the way.

I'm extremely happy how well IntraXCell worked for ALL of our testers and thank you for your kind words and recommendations.:)

We appreciate your support!

Take Care,
