Hello. I am new to bodybuilding. Actually I am starting my first workout today. I decided to do this for two reasons, 1. To feel better. I have not very much energy and I'm always tired. 2. I want to look better (lose weight and gain some muscle mass). I'm 5'5" and 27 years old. My weight is 180 :(
I have been reading all kinds of info and it seems the more I read, the more confused I get. The questions I have are,
I read that I need to have a multi vitamin, protein, and glutamine.
So I went out and got GNC women's ultra mega vitamins, and Nitro-tech protein. I also got Prolab glutamine powder. Is this good and if not what I should be taking? I have also read that I should take the glutamine after I work out. Should I be taking this also on non workout days? I read that I should also take the protein after I work out. Do I take the two together or separately?
Its just very confusing right now. I heard that I should be taking a fat burner to, but I'm not sure what to take if any. It just seems like a lot of stuff to be taking. Can anyone please help me out? Again I want to loose this fat but I do want to gain muscle mass.
Thanks
Carol
