I wanted to ask other woman who weight train if they have ever heard of this. I am 5'6" or so, approx. 120 lbs. 32 years old. I have been training fairly hard (not for competitions) for 1 1/2 years now. 5 days a week. I do different body parts every day. Monday I did chest and tri's. Tuesday morning I woke up and found veins sticking out of my left breast that went from under my arm to my nipple area. I figured I just strained something, but it's still there. I am going to the doctor, but it's the weekend now and I'm getting nervous. Should I worry?

No, I have that a lot and especially when my bodyfat drops a lot I will continue to get more vascularity there and all over. Plus as you add muscle more veins are needed and somewhat pushed to the surface as you develop even in the chest area.

I'm so happy to hear that. I don't have a very big bust....at all...so I guess that's why it would show up more. My body fat is low as well, so that makes sense. I was reading how sometimes changes in vein pattern on your breast could be a sign of breast cancer, so I got nervous. I'll still be going to the doctor for a routine visit, but your post has made me feel much better about it. Thank you.
