i have heard that if i take fish oil with each meal that this will stableise my blood sugar levels and stop me going into an catabolic state
what do you think?

i think that would be to much fish oil, to much omega-3 weakens the immune system

well, its suggested that you try and eat fish at least 2-3 times a week so I wouldn't say any more than 1 is needed than 1 a day pending on the dose you take

Possibly due to the fat content slowing digestion. I haven't seen research that suggests Omega-3s do this. Try searching Pubmed (http://www.pubmed.gov) and let us know what you find.
