when they get to a streak measure in a span of time rather than actual games, let me know. still haven't beat DLS's 12 years playing some of the best teams in the nation numerous times.

but that doesnt change the fact that they are nowhere near de la salles record. the raiders have only won like 13 games the last 5 years, but that doesnt mean they dont have a great history. 12 years> 61 games.

so i am an idiot because i say that a 12 year winning streak that ended just 2 years ago (it probably started before you were even in kindergarten) is better than some 5 year streak? nice logic you ****in tard.

uhh no im saying the streaks are equally impressive considering dls is about 3 times the size of central catholic. DLS streak is impressive but u cant compare anything to that. so you saying 61 games is nothing to talk about is out of line.

how is it out of line? size of school doesn't mean ****. it doesn't change the fact that its a 12 year streak. if anything, the size of a school would take away from the strength of a streak. generally the smaller schools will play other small teams. for example this school in my home town has a student body of about 300 and they went 12-1 this past year. a nice season yes, but they also played teams of similar size (theyre d12 or 13 i think) so the teams they played were the equivalent (talent wise) of middle schools. if they played my school we would have smashed the **** out of them.
leave the size of the school or how long of a streak out of it. look at the teams DLS held that streak against. one of the most famous games was against Long Beach Poly. If you don't know about them, they are consistently one of the best teams in the nation. they are always in the semi's or final game of the playoffs. Just to give you an idea of the talent level and recruiting power of this school, they have sent more players to the NFL than ANY other school in the nation. DLS beat them on numerous occasions. they also smashed on Mission Viejo who was at one time ranked first or second in the nation in numerous polls. They would go to other states and kill their top ranked teams.

yeah dls is good but in league games they play much smaller schools. this team was playing larger schools
