View Full Version : Anyone used these Hooks with the Body Solid Power Rack?
I got the GPR378.
Just wandering if anyone has used any of these with the rack, and if so, how did they fit?

Thanks
I had a Bodysolid power rack the first model and i bought the dips handles from newyorkbarbells, it was fine.
So i think the hooks will fit with no problem.
You don't like the pins of your Bodysolid power rack ?

No i want extra pins lol. Get a second bar going to save some time and effort.
My pins measure 1-1/4 inch in diameter, but all newyorkbarbell pins are 1 inch. Not to sure if its gonna be snug enough

Why not try to get an extra set from Body Solid?

I tried. They said the rack is new so they didn't have any spare parts. Not to mention the guy was a jerk.

That's ridiculous! The rack might be new but the holes in it are the same size as their other racks, so the pins should fit them all. Sounds like you got the run around from a jerk just like you said.
You mentioned you picked up a Body Solid Monster Rack right?
Are your safety pins about 1-1/4 inch in diameter?
I asked him about spare parts from the Monster Rack or Powerline Rack, but havent heard back.
I also had a slight issue with the FID71 and the rack. Turns out you cant set it to 90 degrees and push it into the rack. The bench is so big, the seat is outside the rack. He told me to take the bench out and turn it around. Problem is I dont have enough room to take it out and do a full 180 degree turn. How was I supposed to know beforehand when measuring this would be an issue lol. Extra hooks could help. Id just do them outside the rack, and use a second bar.
I asked him if "I was the only one to have this problem"
his short reply...
"only for the people that do not have enough room."
First, this also seemed kinda rude too me. Second, Id like to know who taught him to speak this pathetic excuse of an attempt at english...does it even answer my question directly?
