ok, here are some of the fight cards coming up soon (not including UFC 62).
UFC 63: SEPTEMBER 23 IN CALIFORNIA
-Matt Hughes vs. Georges St. Pierre for the UFC Welterweight Title
-David Loiseau vs. Mike Swick
-Jens Pulver vs. Joe Lauzon
-Jason Lambert vs. Rashad Evans
-Melvin Guillard vs. Gabe Ruediger
UFC FIGHT NIGHT: OCTOBER 10 ON SPIKE TV
-Tito Ortiz vs. Ken Shamrock
-BJ Penn vs. Kuniyoshi Hironaka
UFC 64: OCTOBER 14 IN LAS VEGAS
-Rich Franklin vs. Anderson Silva for the UFC Middleweight Title
-Sean Sherk vs. Kenny Florian for the vacant UFC Lightweight Title
-Keith Jardine vs. Mike Nickels
PRIDE LAS VEGAS SHOW: OCTOBER 21
-Possibly a Heavyweight Title defense by Fedor Emelianenko
-Mauricio "Shogun" Rua vs. TBA
-Mark Coleman vs. TBA
-Kazuhiro Nakamura vs. TBA
-Kevin Randleman vs. TBA
UFC 65: NOVEMBER 18 IN LAS VEGAS
-Chuck Liddell vs. Wanderlei Silva
(Update: The status of Liddell vs. Silva is up in the air, as UFC president Dana White said on August 10th, "I don't even know if Silva's going to happen.")
-Tim Sylvia vs. Jeff Monson for the UFC Heavyweight Title
-Brandon Vera vs. Frank Mir
-Mark Hominick vs. Joe Stevenson

deffinately an exciting end to the year....im intrested in the louiseau v. swick fight i wana see if swick can hang with the contenders.....id also like to see ortiz v. griffen 2 but that probably wont happen until next year.

yeah id like to see it too - its annoying how UFC book their fights WAY in advance.. i know the guys have current fights/their own lives/training time, but things like.. OH CHUCK VS TITO 2, in february next year :rolleyes:
ortiz vs griffin.. yeah it'll be booked next june! :rolleyes: ah well :) its still good

I don't really like the UFC fight cards. They draw me in with one fight only, which I don't really think is worth $40 for the PPV. However, the PRIDE fight has so many big names. I'll probably order PRIDE Vegas and UFC 65 if Wandy-Chuck goes down.

with jens coming back i'm definatly ordering this!
also hughes and pierre 2 is a must see for most people!

Only one fight I'm that excited about in UFC63, GSP's. I would rather see Pulver fight somebody better, imo.
Compare to 65. We have Brandon Vera, an up and comer who will potentially become a belt contender after he wins, it also determines the course of Frank Mir's career. Tim Sylvia Vs Jeff Monson, who is on a long roll. I think he hasn't lost a fight since 2002. And then the biggest fight of the year possibly, Silva Vs Liddell. Three good fights is enough for me to spend the money.

The fight was planned to take place at UFC 62 but Florian turned down the offer wishing instead to accept the fight at a later date. Now it's going to happen at UFC 64.

I just remember Florian posting on the UG, admitting he was scared of Sherk.
Glad he took the fight, but I think Sherk will get the win.

in a post fight interview with tim sylvia from UFC 61 (theres a thread with link etc if ur interested), he said about the militech belts they have and how jens pulver might be coming to take the lightweight title.. its good that kenflo took the fight but pulver will probably fight that night too, and get a shot down the line.
