I hear creatine causes some bloat, or at least some water retention. (I've been taking 5mg of CEE/day for just a couple weeks hoping my workouts would be more consistent while dieting.)
Does creatine, CEE, cause water retention, and if so then: How much ahead of a show should creatine be dropped then?
How fast does it all clear and any possible water retention go away?

CEE should not cause water retention. Only monohydrate. If taken correctly.

i'm sorry but there is no evidence to support these companies statements regarding CEE not causing water retention.
also, cell volumization from water retention maybe the most anabolic property of creatine.... so what are they saying "our creatine isn't anabolic?"
they are catering to a simple complaint of creatine & exploiting the placebo effect

I tried mono creatine a while ago and I would get a bit of bloat mostly around my obliques/love handles.
The CEE is seems better, but I am cutting and maybe I would look more cut without it. How long would it take for any water retention from creatine to go away? If it is quick then maybe I could run a quick experiment.

I thought that the extra creatine left from loading mono is what absorbed water, unlike the much smaller amount of CEE used.

creatine monohydrate is absorbed fine and is the only form ever proven to work

I stopped three weeks out and I was pretty dry. I don't know if I could of held out any longer or not, wasn't gonna take the chance.

Has anyone heard anything about the creatine from Cellucor...called M5. I know it is monohydrate so I was wondering if anyone had ever used it. I plan on starting here in a bit, yes i know it's pricey but dont worry about that.

Layne, got to be said, I love that back pic, great shape and vascularity.
Surely the main selling point of creatine is the increase water intake into the muscle site, therefore increase bloody flow into the site, causing 'the pump' and whatever.
