View Full Version : Upright rows are still good if performed properly

They had an article about them in my latest mens fitness ( the guy who wrote it is a certified strength and conditioning coach but doesn't post on here so he is probably an idiot :rolleyes: ).

It addressed the whole impigment thing or what not and said that is why the traditional way of doing them is bad. However it went on to say and even support the better way of doing them which is wide grip and to stop at a certain point.

Wish I had the article with me. Just nice to see the move getting the props it deserves and to see support of doing the movement me and guys like diamond delts have advised.

I read the same thing today. It basically just said that you hold it WIDE (4-5 inches past shoulder width on each side it looked like.) It looked almost like the same width as you would doing a bench press.
