I am new to the fitness hype... let myself get WAY out of controll. No more excuses... no more wasted time. I need a good steady plan to follow that will turn an obese woman into a fit one. (droping lbs and tone up) Looking to join one of those 12 wk programs for encouragement to continue. Hows Body for life?? Any suggestions?? I am TOTALLY at a loss when it comes to suplements too.
ANY help would be a step in the right direction!!!!

Welcome Kristy, I sent you a PM. Glad to see your positive attitude. If you are just beginning, Body-for-Life is a good kick off plan. I recommend it. Have you read it yet?

Yes I read it 1 year ago. I was ready to start and on my kick off day (jan 29th 2001) I was in a huge car accident. I was ejected 60ft into oncoming traffic in the snow. Broke both arms and my femur. Was pretty bad off, but I am doing good now... Need to get in shape and get this weight OFF!!!! I am in the process of reading it again.

OMG, how horrible! At least you survived.
Read the book again and listen to the audio so your sub-concious can absorb it. We'll keep track and help you. ;)

Funny... as we speak my nose is burried in it! I can join the gym at my work for $5 a month (its small - wieghts and a couple bikes). Going to get it set up next week. I can do cardio workouts at home. I am going to burry myself in this untill I consume myself in it!! The more motivation, the better!! =)

I have decided on a date to start the 12 week program!!! It will be January 28th!!! I'll have to do the cardio at home untill I get up the gall for the gym! Any suggestions on videos? I have a few! Remember... I am a beginer and lost ALL muscle in a bad car accident. Right now I sweat to the instruction video of Tia-Bo... hehe!
Thanks
Kristy!

I've been on body for life for over a year and have had impressive results. The whole idea of eating clean and working out are the basics to bodybuilding. After the first 12 weeks or so you can tweak the protein(I raised my ratio to 50/30/20 instead of 40/40/20) and the workout in case you hit a plateau. Lots of people go on to Leanness Lifestyles or other programs after BFL.
Great success to you.
