Hello and Welcome to JiveT's "cutting" log!
First, a little about myself:
25 years old
6'4"
205lbs
My goal for this log:
Drop bodyfat %
Maintain muscle mass
This will be a 4 week log(28 days) beginning tomorrow(August 8th). I will be working out every day unless I really need a rest day. My split will be: Chest/Calves, Back, Shoulders/Calves, Arms, Legs, Repeat. I will be doing morning and evening cardio(Mon./Wed./Friday) and evening cardio only on all other days of the week(after weight training). I will do ab work every other day.
Along with the Stizm/Dicana/G-tek/Sesamin, I will be taking the following supplements:
NOTE I have been taking these supplements for ~6 months. Also, I have been off caffeine for 1 month.

This is my first log, so if there's anything I forgot just let me know. I've been a big fan of all the Thermolife reps here, so I have great expectations of their supplement line :cool: dito tried to get me hooked on G-tek chewables :o so I've decided to go with the tablets for this log. Oh yeah, this is an unsponsored log.

DAY ONE: BACK & CARDIO
Good morning everyone! Thanks for stopping by. I just finished up my breakfast and first dose of supplements...it went a little something like this:
6:00am-Breakfast consisting of: 2 packets Original Quaker Grits, 1/2 tablespoon Smart Balance Omega Plus butter, 1 slice of Kraft Fat Free American cheese, 1.5 cups of Egg Beaters Ham & Cheese all mixed together Ronnie Coleman style :cool: 1 Granny Smith apple and 32 ounces of water.
6:05am-Supplements taken: Adam, CLA, Fish Oil, Sesamin, Potassium, Cinnamon Bark, Garlic.
7:45am-2 Stizm Capsules,1 Dicana Capsule, and 4 G-Tek Tablets
As soon as I post this I'll be off to the gym. OUT!
UPDATE
BACK & CARDIO WORKOUT
I just got back from the gym and here's the recap:
Warmed up on the bike for 10 minutes
Chins: 5 sets of 12 reps (bodyweight)
Smith Machine Deadlifts: 2(12x135), 2(12x225), 2(10x315), 2(10x405)= 8 total sets
Cable Row(w/close grip): 2(12x120), 2(12x160), 1(12x180), 1(12x210)= 6 total sets
Hammer Strength One Arm Rows: 1(12x45), 3(12x90)= 4 total sets
Back Extensions: 5 sets of 20 reps (bodyweight)
35 minutes on the Precor EFX (~500 calories burned)
I had an extremely good workout! I definitely had smooth energy throughout and never felt tired or ready to quit. I really feel like I should let the pictures I post during this log do all the talking for me. All I can say is that the Stizm/Dicana combo met my first day expectations :cool:

Good evening all! Here's what happened post workout and on:
9:45am-Post workout consisted of 1 scoop Storm, 2 scoops Ergo GF-Pro and 4 G-Tek Tablets.
11:00am-Lunch:Teriyaki Tuna Filet/Fat Free Cheese/Lettuce/Tomato wrapped in a fiber pita. Supplements: 1 Dicana Capsule, Adam, Sesamin, CLA, Fish Oil, Potassium, Garlic
12:30pm-Tanning for 15 minutes :cool:
2:30pm-Protein bar: Xyience Xstart Mixed Berry Bar
4:00pm-Abs: 4 sets of 20 reps(Crunches/Reverse Crunches/Bicycles) for a total of 12 sets.
6:00pm-Dinner: South Beach Diet Pepperoni Pizza. Supplements: 1 Dicana Capsule, Sesamin, CLA, Fish Oil, Potassium.
I will be taking ZMA and 1 scoop of Xtreme Form's Ultra Peptide before bed tonight. I forgot to mention my water intake, but it's always between 1-2 gallons per day mixed up between water and/or Crystal Light. Tomorrow is Shoulders/Traps/Calves and morning/evening cardio.

DAY TWO: SHOULDERS/TRAPS/CALVES/CARDIO
6:00am-Supplements: 1 Dicana Capsule and 2 Stizm Capsules on an empty stomach.
7:00am-Cardio: 45 minutes uphill walking on the treadmill (20 minutes at Incline 15/Speed 3.8, 10 minutes at Incline 12/Speed 4.0, 10 mintues at Incline 15/Speed 3.8, 5 minutes at Incline 0/Speed 3.0).
9:30am-Breakfast: 1/2 cup McCann's Steel Cut Oat Meal, 1.5 cups Ham & Cheese Egg Beaters, 1 tablespoon natty peanut butter. Supplements: Immediately post workout- 4 G-Tek Tablets, the rest taken with breakfast consisted of: Adam, Sesamin, CLA, Fish Oil, Garlic, Potassium, Cinammon, Joint Health.
This morning's cardio session was outstanding! About a month ago I was using Shock Therapy preworkout and I really liked the energy/focus I experienced using it, but I REALLY like the feeling I'm getting from the Stizm/Dicana combo. The energy is awesome! I know it's a little early on in the log to come to conclusions...but I'm definitely loving these products :) I'm off to tan, but I'll be back with my afternoon workout update and pictures. FINAL UPDATE
After this mornings breakfast, my wife and I went grocery shopping and picked up some more basics(tuna, salmon, chicken, veggies, steel cut oats, milk, etc.) We also went to this place out here in Hawaii called Down to Earth which is a so called "Health Food" store. We found some pretty good stuff to toss into my diet. I did another 15 minutes of tanning and here's a look back at the rest of the day:
10:30am-Protein bar(Labrada Rockin' Roll Trail Mix Bar)
1:00pm-Lunch: 2 boneless chicken breasts, brown rice and mixed veggies. Supplements: 1 Dicana Capsule, Adam, Sesamin, CLA, Fish Oil, Garlic, Pottasium, Joint Health
4:00pm-Preworkout: 2 Stizm Capsules, and 1 scoop Mass Meal.
SHOULDERS/TRAPS/CALVES/CARDIO
Seated Calf Raises- 2 sets of 25 reps(45lbs), 2 sets of 20 reps(90lbs), 2 sets of 15 reps(135lbs), 1 set of 30 reps(45lbs). For a total of 7 sets.
Standing Side Laterals- 2(20x20lbs), 1(15x25lbs), 1(15x30lbs), 2(12x40lbs). For a total of 6 sets.
Seated Dumbbell Military Presses- 1(20x45lbs), 1(15x60lbs), 1(12x75lbs), 1(8x90lbs). For a total of 4 sets.
Standing Dumbbell Front Raises- 1(20x20lbs), 1(15x25lbs), 1(12x30lbs), 2(10x35lbs). For a total of 5 sets.
Seated Bent Over Rear Laterals- 4(15x35lbs)
Behind the Back Barbell Shrugs- 2(15x225lbs), 2(15x315lbs), 2(15x405lbs), 1(20x225lbs). For a total of 7 sets.
Machine Shrugs- 4(15x290lbs).
Cardio- 20 minutes of Sprint/Rest intervals on the Precor EFX(~350 calories burned)
Another excellent workout with plenty of energy to spare :) Not much else to say except I felt strong and focused the entire time. My damn camera broke so unfortunately I won't be able to post pictures today :( but I will definitely get a new camera tomorrow, so calm down :D On to the rest of the day:
6:30pm- Post Workout: 4 G-tek Tablets, 1 scoop Storm and 2 scoops ON Gold Standard.
8:00pm- Dinner: Mesquite Salmon Filet, Fat Free Cheese, mixed veggies wrapped in a fiber pita. Supplements: 1 Dicana Capsule, Sesamin, CLA, Fish Oil, Joint Health.
Before bed tonight I will have 1 scoop of Probolic-SR and ZMA. Oh yeah, this morning I weighed myself before cardio and the scale said 199lbs?? I started this thing out at 205lbs so I figure the majority of that was water. I weighed myself again before this evenings training session and I was 202lbs. I think I'm gonna weigh myself only at the beginning and end of each week from now on unless anyone requests otherwise. If those who are following the log feel it's a bit wordy, just let me know and I'll try to tone it down a bit. My tanning isn't coming along that great, I think you'll see why I say this when you see tomorrows pics :o I hope everyone had a bad ass day today! :) GOOD NIGHT!!

Warmed up on this new bicycle/elliptical machine my gym got in yesterday, for 10 minutes.
Rope Extensions- 2(15x60lbs), 2(15x90lbs), 1(12x120lbs), 1(10x110lbs), 1(15x60lbs). For a total of 7 sets.
Flat Bench Close Grip Dumbbell Presses- 2(15x50lbs), 1(12x70lbs), 1(12x80lbs), 1(10x90lbs), 1(8x100lbs). For a total of 6 sets.
Standing Alternating Dumbbells Bicep Curls- 1(15x20lbs), 1(15x25lbs), 1(15x30lbs), 1(12x40lbs), 1(10x50lbs). For a total of 5 sets.
Seated Incline Alternating Dumbbells Bicep Curls- 4(12x35lbs).
Seated Overhead Tricep Extensions- 4(12x90lbs).
Standing Hammer Curls- 5(12x50lbs).
Cardio- 35 minutes on the Precor EFX(~550 calories burned).
Another great workout today :) Same smooth energy kept me going the entire time. I did pick up a new camera and took these pictures of my arms/shoulders about 4 hours after my workout. Not much to look at :o Sorry about the size, I'll try to fix that next time.

Alrighty, again I'll be taking my ZMA and most likely 1 scoop of Ultra Peptide tonight. Since I only used one serving of G-Tek today I'll probably pop 4 tablets along with my shake. I was going to show you guys my "tan" but I was too embarrassed to show my sun burn off :o Tomorrow is leg day so I'm gonna get some shut eye :) AUF WIEDERSEHEN!

DAY FOUR: LEGS & CARDIO
GOOD MORNING!! :)
6:00am- Pre-Cardio Supplements: 2 Stizm Capsules and 1 Dicana Capsule.
7:15am- Cardio: 45 minutes on the Precor EFX.
8:15am- Post-Cardio Supplement: 4 G-Tek Tablets
I upped the intensity quite a bit during this morning's cardio session and I was very pleased with the sustained energy! I was actually trying to wear myself out, but the Stizm/Dicana held strong :cool: I know this may look and sound weird...but I shaved the upper portion of my quads last night to see if there was any definition hiding underneath all that hairy wilderness :o I dunno if I found any?? I'll let the readers decide :) These pictures were taken post cardio this morning:

DAY FIVE: ABS & CARDIO
HELLO!! I have to apologize for not updating last night...my wife and I celebrated our 4 Year Wedding Anniversary yesterday, so I think that's a good excuse :) I did stray from my diet by eating out at the Cheesecake Factory :o More on that later...here's a recap of yesterday(meals & workout).
11:00am- Protein Shake: Two scoops Mass Meal Chocolate Flavor with 1/4 cups Quaker Oats.
1:00pm- Lunch: Grilled Mesquite Salmon on La Tortilla Factory tortilla with one slice of fat free cheese and 1 tablespoon nayonaise. Supplements: 1 Dicana Capsule, Adam, Sesamin, CLA, Fish Oil, Garlic, EGCg, Vitaberry, Joint Health.
3:30pm- Pre-Workout Supplement: 2 Stizm Capsules
LEGS & CARDIO
Warmed up on the bike for 10 minutes.
Lying Leg Curls- 2(15x80lbs), 2(12x100lbs), 2(12x120lbs), 1(20x80lbs). For a total of 7 sets.
Leg Extensions(warm up only)-2(20x60lbs)
Leg Presses- 2(15x200lbs), 2(12x290lbs), 2(12x380lbs), 1(12x470lbs), 1(20x200lbs). For a total of 8 sets.
Smith Machine Squats- 2(15x115lbs), 2(12x165lbs), 2(12x215lbs), 1(12x265lbs), 1(15x115lbs). For a total of 8 sets.
Dumbbell Stiff-Legged Deadlifts- 4(15x70lbs).
Cardio- 30 minutes uphill treadmill walking(Incline 15/Speed 3.8)
WOAH! That was a very difficult workout for me...again, I have to give the Stizm and Dicana all the credit for getting me through this one :o As you can see, I'm not that strong but I was impressed with myself that I was able to finish.
6:00pm- Post-Workout Supplements: 1 Scoop Storm and 2 Scoops GF-Pro, 4 G-Tek Tablets.
7:30pm- Dinner: The Cheesecake Factory- My entrée was the "Special Combination" of Chicken Madeira and Steak Diane with Sauteed Snow Peas & Vegetables. I had a "small" Steakhouse Salad as an appetizer. I also had 1 Guinness Draught with my meal and for dessert I had half of the 6 carb Original Cheesecake :o I definitely consider that a cheat meal but don't worry, I kicked my butt with cardio this morning(more on that later). Supplements- 1 Dicana Capsule, Sesamin, CLA, Fish Oil, Joint Health.
10:00pm- Pre-Bed Supplements: 1 scoop Ultra Peptide and ZMA.
DAY FIVE:ABS & CARDIO
7:00am- Breakfast: 1/2 cups Steel Cut Oats, 1.5 cups Egg Beaters, 1 slice fat free cheese, 1 squirt Mrs. Buttersworth Sugar Free Syrup. Supplements: 1 Dicana Capsule, Adam, Sesamin, CLA, Fish Oil, Garlic, Cinammon, EGCg, Vitaberry, Joint Health.
10:00am- Pre-Cardio Supplement: 2 Stizm Capsules.
CARDIO
60 minutes :o on the Cybex ArcTrainer
YIKES!! I dunno if any of you have used this piece of cardio equipment, but it's a killa! DAMN!! After only 20 minutes I was gonna give up...Stizm said, "HELL NO YOU AIN'T QUITTIN'!!" I did the full hour and then crawled my way back home. That's what I get for eating at the Cheesecake Factory :) We have abs a little later on today, so I'll be sure to update this evening. ALOHA!!

I'm gonna wait until my sun burn calms down a bit to post more shirtless pictures. I don't understand this whole "7 images only" crap?? I wanted to put the embarrassed face up but I already used my limit?? Hmmm...
6:00pm-Dinner: South Beach Diet Deluxe Pizza. Supplements: 1 Dicana Capsule, Sesamin, CLA, Fish Oil, Joint Health.

DAY SIX: CHEST & CARDIO
My legs were rather sore this morning from yesterday's ArcTrainer cardio, so I opted for only one cardio session today, but it was definitely intense so...let's see what else happened, shall we?

Incline Dumbbell Presses- 1(15x40lbs), 1(15x50lbs), 1(12x75lbs), 1(12x90lbs), 1(15x50lbs). For a total of 5 sets.
Flat Bench Dumbbell Presses- 4(12x80lbs), 1(15x40lbs). For a total of 5 sets.
Flat Bench Dumbbell Flyes- 4(15x 35lbs).
Machine Flyes- Dropset(4 total sets starting with 100 lbs, dropping 20 lbs each time for a total of 32 reps).
Cardio- 45 minutes on the Precor EFX(~850 calories burned).
WOOHOO!!! Another day and another GREAT workout!! :D I can't get over the feeling I get about 20 minutes after taking the Stizm. I wish I could describe it, but the closest thing I can think of is: being in a situation where you KNOW that things are gonna go your way?? Somethin' like that :) My chest felt extremely pumped post workout but I decided to go ahead and do some weighted pushups when I got home ;)

12:30pm- Lunch: 8oz Chicken Breast, lettuce, tomato, pickles, fat free Italian dressing(just a little!), and 1 slice of this stuff called "Men's Bread" which is basically whole wheat bread with Pumpkin and Flax Seed with 4 grams of fiber. Supplements: 1 Dicana Capsule, Adam, Sesamin, CLA, Fish Oil, Vitaberry, EGCg, Joint Health.
3:30pm- Protein Shake: 2 scoops Mass Meal, 1/2 cup Quaker Oats.
I'm gonna go ahead and post what I'm gonna eat for dinner tonight and then head off to the movies :)
6:30pm- South Beach Diet Four Cheese Pizza. Supplements: 1 Dicana Capsule, Sesamin, CLA, Fish Oil, Joint Health.

Anyways, yesterday was back and cardio and today will be shoulders and cardio. Not a single complaint for my first week using these supplements...looking forward to the next three :)

DAY EIGHT: SHOULDERS/TRAPS/CALVES/CARDIO
I decided to keep my workouts the same for the duration of the log, the only difference will be the number of reps...in this case, I'll be increasing the reps by 1 for each exercise.
6:00am-Supplements: 1 Dicana Capsule and 2 Stizm Capsules on an empty stomach.
7:00am-Cardio: 45 minutes on the Precor EFX.
9:30am-Breakfast: 1/2 cup McCann's Steel Cut Oat Meal, 1.5 cups Egg Beaters, 1 tablespoon natty peanut butter. Supplements: Immediately post workout- 4 G-Tek Tablets, the rest taken with breakfast consisted of: Adam, Sesamin, CLA, Fish Oil, Garlic, Potassium, Cinammon, Joint Health.
Yet again, another GREAT workout! I'm getting tired of this :D I know it must be boring to read that I haven't had a bad workout, but what can I say? This stuff works! I kept my heart rate over 160 for the entirety of the cardio session yet never felt exhausted. AWESOME!!
10:30am-Protein bar(Oh YEAH! Peanut Butter Wafer Bar)

Everything went as planned :cool: I printed out last weeks workout, performed the exact same movements and added 1 rep per exercise. I had a ton of energy and knew I could do more but I feel that a slow progression is the best way to improve.
6:30pm- Post Workout: 4 G-tek Tablets, 1 scoop Storm and 2 scoops ON Gold Standard.
8:00pm- Dinner: Lemon & Dill Salmon Filet, Fat Free Cheese, mixed veggies wrapped in a fiber pita. Supplements: 1 Dicana Capsule, Sesamin, CLA, Fish Oil, Joint Health.

WOW! My arms are still pretty pumped so typing this log is quite painful ;) I stuck to the one rep increase over last weeks workout rep scheme and had no problems pulling it off. I'm very surprised my strength isn't dropping(I feel it's actually increasing based on my numbers) considering the amount of cardio I'm performing. Let's not jinx this so...movin' on! :D

LEGS & CARDIO
Warmed up on the bike for 5 minutes.
Lying Leg Curls- 2(16x80lbs), 2(13x100lbs), 2(13x120lbs), 1(21x80lbs). For a total of 7 sets.
Leg Extensions(warm up only)-2(21x60lbs)
Leg Presses- 2(16x200lbs), 2(13x290lbs), 2(13x380lbs), 1(13x470lbs), 1(21x200lbs). For a total of 8 sets.
Smith Machine Squats- 2(16x115lbs), 2(13x165lbs), 2(13x215lbs), 1(13x265lbs), 1(16x115lbs). For a total of 8 sets.
Dumbbell Stiff-Legged Deadlifts- 4(16x70lbs).
Cardio- 35 minutes on the Precor EFx(~500 calories burned)
I was tempted to increase the weight this workout but I decided to stick to my "add one rep" shenanigans and it proved to be a challenge. My legs are a little upset with me :o I ALMOST didn't do cardio because of my weak will...but Stizm and Dicana assured me I could do it :)

45 minutes on the Life Fitness Stair Climber(~800 calories burned).
It was kinda strange doing the stair climber seeing how I haven't used that machine in a while. I was surprised how quickly I started sweating/my heart rate increased. No problem doing the whole 45 :cool:

I have several weak body parts...but I consider my chest one of the worst :o But I see improvements each week and today I had a very good mind/muscle connection so I think it's on the up and up :)

I decided to just do cardio only yesterday... and I also found out my family is coming out to visit the next couple of weeks :o I'm worried that I won't be able to update as often as I was hoping but I will stick to my diet/routine as much as possible and update when I can.

Well, I've had quite an interesting month to say the least. A lot of family issues to sort through which required my full attention. I've been out of the gym for most of the month but I got back in to it yesterday. Things have calmed down a bit so I just wanted to check in and apologize for not being able to finish my log :(
