I love duck hunting but it looks like I am going to have to do some ass kissing if I get to do any blind hunting this year. Someone torched our blind and kinda broke my heart. It was like burning down a shrine. Some of the guys in our little group had hunted out of it for 40 years.:(

I'm going to hunter training classes this week and once those are done, it is ON! My guy has a plot of land with dove, duck, and deer for the taking.

Good for you Amelia. I am always glad when someone gets some training before the go banging cause it means less chance of me getting shot.

Now as far as deer hunting you are going to be a bit nervous and you might possibly miss but I don't want you to feel bad if it happens. The reason is because of this little video. This guy set the bar very high for all hunters who have ever missed a shot, so no matter if you do miss your first Bambi because of nerves you can never be as bad as this guy. After watching it I know you will do fine.

My mom had a recipe where she would put duck breasts in cornbread dressing and then bake it. It was one of the greastest things I have ever eaten.
Stupid me let the recipe die with her..

I have searched and tried to find something close to how she made it but I can't even get close. Drat
