Im exactly 2 weeks out from my first show and currently i practice posing for about 15-30 mins a day. I usually hold the pose for about 60 secs and its soo hard to really control after 30 seconds. How long do they normally have you hold a pose on stage? I would guess about 15 seconds right. help me out here.

They wouldn't make you hold a particular pose for anymore than 15-20 seconds at best, I myself practice holding each pose for only 30 seconds, to practice holding your poses for 60 seconds isn't really necessary but if you wish to continue to do that it can't hurt I'm sure that just means your poses will "look" effortless which is a good thing.

it's not too bad if you've practiced. Just don't try to pose too hard. I did that at prejudging and pulled a calf muscle (couldn't put any weight on it at all!). I Had to rest it and apply heat all day to have it feeling ok for the night show. At the night show I tried not to tense up too much and posed much better.

SleepLifter, where's your show at? My first one will be the same date as your's, July 22. I'll be in the SNBF show in Suwanee, Georgia. In the teen division of course.
