Well the backyard in undergoing some major changes and in regards to my training all i'm have at my disposal now is a 300lbs barbell set and my 1 pood kettlebell.
I remember a while back listening to Dan John talk about how at one time in his life all he had to train with was a barbell. Surprise surprise today i find myself in the same situation so i'm taking my inspiration from Dan (and stealing his phrase).

Started off today with what Dan calls 'The Exercise' its basically a power snatch followed by an overhead squat. I wasn't feelin to great so kept it short and decided to do 3 sets of 3 with 135lbs, it actually ended up being 3 sets of 1 powersnatch followed by 3 overhead squats with 135lbs.

Followed that with power cleans and presses with 135lbs, it went 1 clean from the ground and press followed by a clean from the waist and press followed by a clean from below the knee and press. I think i did 4 or 5 sets of that.

Finished up with some 'Dog Sprints' where i attempt to out sprint my 2 dogs.

Started out todays workout with deadlifts, i did all sets/reps with a double overhand grip
135lbs x 5
225lbs x 3
300lbs x 3 sets of 3

Romanian deadlifts from the floor,
2 sets of 2 with 300lbs using a staggered grip

Followed it up with clean and presses, 1 clean and 3 presses,
135lbs x 3 sets of 3

it started to get dark so i stopped the workout there.

Wow been busy lately with work and life. Got in a couple of decent workouts this week.
Yesterday i started out with Weighted Pistols using my 1 pood kettlebell,
3 reps each leg
2 reps each leg
2 reps each leg
2 reps each leg

Then went onto Clean & Presses, 1 power clean and 3 presses.
3 sets of 3 with 135lbs (my shoulders a little sore from work so i'm keeping the weight down).

Finished it all up with kettlebell sprints, basically i hold the kettlebell up by my chest and sprint away.
