Taking from BODYBYBOB

first the herbs i use are from http://www.quantumherbalproducts.com i have used all the orther brands but this one is the cleanest and the best ,it will tell you on their website the reason they are the best ,anyway the two herbs to mix are valerian root and passion flower get the single herbal tinctures ,so that means you get one bottle of valerion root and one bottle of passion flower ,since you are mixing them together they become stronger, together so do not do the amount of drops that it says on each bottle in stead i would start with 10 drops of each and you just mix them in a little bit of water ,just before bed time ,you will have to experiment how many drops is good for you in order to get sleep ,each person is different ,but start with 10 drops each for a few days and see what happens and then raise the drops until it works ,do it before bed cause if you do it a few times a day like the bottle says you will feel tired all day.i would also do it on an empty stomach about 15-20 minutes before laying down ,if you do it on an empty stomach it gets absorbed faster into the blood stream, also here is a good site to get info from http://www.****************** when you get the site click on the learning tab when you get that page scroll down to near the bottom of the page and they have links to health concerns which if you click on that link you will get a page with all kinds of illneses and what drugs or herbs or supp. you can use to help make them better or there is a link to herbal remedys or one for vit.and supp.and a few others it is one of the best sites for info that i have seen i use it all the time for knowledge, and if you use it you will know everything i know it seems they changed the home page around a little at the vit.shoppe site there now is a link to helth concerns and on each tab they have sub divisins but it still contains all the things i mentioned

I would suggest that you used cup of tilia intermedia as a base for the two extracts. (Sorry but I don't know it's common english name, maybe lime...)

For people you have not need of a calming potion, but have trouble sleeping because they are in fact not feeling sleepy, a good solution could be melatonin. It's generally very beneficial and a good antioxidant. The liquid version is better even though I have come across a melatonin pill containing tryptofanum which is a great sleep and mood enhancer.

For people with agitation or psycogenous sleep problems a combination of all 4 compounds mentioned before in a drink plus a triptofanum capsule can be a solution before looking at benzodiazepines or benzodiazepin-like substances...
