I would like to thank Palo Alto Labs for selecting me as one of their testers for their new PCT product called Paravol. For those that do not know what Paravol is, here is a quick description from Palo Alto Labs.
Formulated specifically for post anabolic users (but still effective for non users), Paravol is the most powerful and effective ejaculation and orgasm enhancer on the market. Paravol can help men with uneven testosterone levels increase their ejaculation level and sexual potency by as much as 500%. Medically documented, scientific studied data shows that with daily use of Paravol, the post cycle male sexual response curve exceeds all levels of expectation and provides uncharted levels of dynamic sexual performance.
Paravol Features the following benefits:
• Longer, More Intense Orgasms
• Up to 500% Greater Ejaculation Volume
• Increased Confidence and Explosive “Shooting Power”
• Enhanced Contraction Strength and Frequency
• Stronger, Fuller, Firmer Erection Quality
• Enhanced Virility and Confidence
Designed to boost diminished testosterone levels, as well as improve the quality and intensity of your love life, Paravol is the answer for PCT sexual dysfunction.
I fall into the category of those as non-anabolic users. I have not been taking any supplements (except whey protein) for a number of weeks in preparation to seeing an Endo for low test levels. Therefore, with a "clean system", the results of this test will be determined strictly by the product itself. And being older than most people who post here, I'm curious to see if there is any test (and associated strength) increases with this product. My wife of 30 years is looking forward to this testing! :D You might say I'm the lab rat, she will be the observer so to speak!
My routine generally falls into a 2 day split, although I may lift for 3 straight days before taking a break, depending on the workload with my job.
My typical week of lifting will usually look like this:
Monday Legs
Tues Chest/Tris'/Abs
Wed Off
Thurs Back/Bi's
Fri Shoulders/Traps
Sat Off
I may also throw in an arm day in there where I work bi's and tri's using isolation movements if I feel the need.
During this testing, my food intake will remain relatively unchanged so as to eliminate this as a variable. My macro's consist of chicken, lean beef, sweet potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans and other fresh vegetables, brown rice, oats, salmon, swordfish, tuna, eggs, cottage cheese, multi-vitamins and protein shakes. I'm attempting a slow bulk right now, as I have found out I can add fat quicker than muscle at my age, even on a clean diet. So I keep my calorie intake just a bit higher than maintenance level.
When I post my routines, I’ll list the sets and reps with the actual weight I am able to lift. I don’t have an ego to feed, so I really don’t care if someone thinks I’m weak or not. I give each routine everything I have, and I list them as easy, moderate, heavy, very heavy or muscle failure effort. These categories are relative to me, and are only provided as a frame of reference so I can tell if I am making progress week after week.
And finally, the product says to take 2 capsules per day. I’ll start tomorrow morning, even though it is a non-lifting day. The container has 60 capsules, so this log will run for 30 days, after which I’ll report my final evaluation of the product. I’ll also update this log based on the effects of the Paravol as I start to feel any results. Please feel free to ask questions, offer comments or simply read along as this progresses’.
Again, I would like to thanks Palo Alto Labs for selecting me as a tester for their new product. Tomorrow, the male volume enhancement begins! :D

Hey, no problem. Glad to be able to offer a slightly different perspective on things for ya. Hopefully this product will work for me. The last Non Hormonal Anabolic (NHA) stack I was on was very successful! Follow along, it should be entertaining at least!

I started the Paravol yesterday, even though it was an off day for me. That explains the day 2 on Paravol for everyone. I take one in the morning with breakfast, and one with dinner in the evening. Speaking of food.......consumption was very good, consisting of oats, 3 whole eggs with cheese, 2 protein shakes, 1 banana, 2 chicken sandwiches on wheat, cottage cheese, 98% lean meat loaf, broccoli, cauliflower and potatoes spread out over 5 meals throughout the day.
A most interesting day today. Some woman tried to park her car underneath my truck by running her red light at an intersection. She locked those tires up like a NASCAR driver! Then proceeded to flip me off like it was my fault. I guess a red light to her means drive like hell in an effort to beat everyone else through the intersection. On the way out of the gym I got to watch another woman get to wear some metal bracelets, compliments of the local law enforcement. I'm not sure what she did, other than call the cops every name in the book. I'm retired Navy, and she screamed a few obscenities I had to write down.....they were that good! Anyway, on with the routine tonight, which was a back routine for me.
Wide Grip Cable Pulldowns 15x140 as warmups/ 10x170/ 10x190/ 8x210 (moderate - very heavy effort)
Iso Row Machine 10x135/ 10x160/ 10x170 (moderate - heavy effort)
Widegrip Chin-ups 6, 6, 6, 5, 5, 3 = 31 reps My goal on this routine is to get to 30 reps in as few of sets as possible. I still had a bit of strength left so I got 1 extra rep.
T-Bar Rows 10x135/ 8x145/ 8x155 (moderate - heavy effort)
Close Grip Seated Cable Rows 10x160/ 10x180/ 8x200 (easy - moderate effort)
DB Rows 10x80/ 10x90/ 8x100 (easy - heavy effort)
Barbell Curls 12x65/ 12x65 super-setted with
Hammer Curls 12x25/ 12x25
My biceps were feeling pretty good, so I decided to throw in the curls. By the time I was done, I had a really good pump to the forearms and bi's. The lats were feeling strong as well, but I believe I have irritated the tendonitis in my right elbow. This resulted from some weighted dips I did a couple of days ago. No worries though, a bit of Motrin should take care of it.
I should mention that so far I haven't noticed any thing related to Paravol yet, but this doesn't surprise me. Not to worry though, I'm just getting started. :D
Tomorrow is my shoulder routine, then maybe an arm routine on Sat. We'll see how I feel come then.

Today was shoulders and traps day as advertised. Overall I had an excellent workout with plenty of endurance. Strength was above par, which really surprised me considering some big ass storms came through last night and woke me up numerous times. It's too early to tell if it was the Paravol working though (I would think). I contribute it to the food intake today. Speaking of........
Food consumption was good today, consisting of oats, 1 whole egg and 2 egg whites, 1 banana, sardines, chicken sandwich on wheat bread, 4oz of tuna, 8oz low fat cottage cheese, 2 protein shakes and pasta with a salad for dinner.
And since Paravol is supposed to increase one's sexual performance, I established a "baseline" as it were last night with the wife. :D Now we will really see how well the product works! Anyway, on to the lifting.
DB Shoulder Presses 12x45 for warmups 10x50/ 10x55/ 7x60 (easy-very heavy effort)
Those 60lbs DB are my sticking point no doubt. I may go up to 65lbs for whatever I can get just so I can increase my rep range on the 60's.
DB Shrugs 12x70/ 12x80/ 12x90/ 12x100 (easy-moderate effort)
Lateral Shoulder Raise Machine 12x25/ 12x30/ 8x35/ 6x40 (easy-heavy effort) The 6 reps at 40lbs is a PB for me!
Shoulder Press Machine 10x150/ 10x160/ 8x170 (moderate-muscle failure)
Standing Calf Machine Shrugs 15x250/ 15x250/ 15x300/ 15x300 (moderate effort) I really enjoy doing shrugs on this machine. It really isolates the traps!
Lateral Cable Raises 12x30/ 10x35/ 10x40/ 6x45 (easy-heavy effort)
The 45lbs was also a PB for me!
Hammer Strength Shrug Machine 12x180/ 12x270/ 12x270 (moderate effort)
Lateral DB Raises 12x25/ 8x30/ 6x30 (heavy-very heavy effort)
Reverse Pec Dec 12x70/ 12x90/ 10x100 (moderate effort)
That was the routine for the day. Tomorrow will be arm day for bi's and tri's, one of my favorite routines. Other than the sexual sides this product is supposed to give you, I'm also going to see if it has any anabolic properties since I've got a clean system and not in need of any PCT at the moment. If it increases the product of natural testosterone, I should notice a strength increase as well.

I got my arm routine in early today, so there is no need to cover the food consumption. With that in mind, on to the weights.
DB Skullcrushers 12x20 for warmups 12x25/ 8x30/ 8x35/ 8x40 (easy-moderate effort)
Supper-setted with
DB Hammer Curls 12x20 for warmups 12x25/ 8x30/ 8x35/ 8x40 (easy-moderate effort)
Cable Pushdowns 10x150/ 10x160/ 10x170 (easy-moderate effort)
EZ Bar Cable Curls 10x80/ 10x90/ 8x100/ 8x120 (moderate effort)
Rope Pulldowns 10x100/ 10x110/ 8x120/ 8x130 (moderate effort)
The 130lbs was a PB on this routine.
Standing BB Curls 10x65/ 10x75/ 8x85 (heavy effort)
1 Arm DB Preacher Bench Curls 8x35/ 6x40/ 5x45 15x25 (went to muscle failure on the 45lb DB)
Dips BWx3x15 (easy effort)
Close Grip Bench Press 10x96/ 10x116/ 8x136 (moderate effort)
Strength was really up today. My triceps have been improving this year better than I had hoped. Looks like some of that hard work is starting to pay off.
Tomorrow is an off day for me. Monday will be a planned leg routine. Hopefully by then I will start to notice the Paravol kicking in. ;)

Ever have one of those days when you never seemed to wake up? That was me today, I just never seemed to get going. It may have been the weather, but all I wanted to do today at work was go back to sleep. (Anyone else get 10,000 inches of rain this weekend?) I kept looking for animals lining up two by two. Whatever it was I really didn't have the desire to workout, but I went anyway.
Instead of doing legs today, I decided to do a chest routine. Reason being I want to give my front delts a chance to recover before shoulder day when I hit them again. I've noticed my strength is better when I separate chest and shoulders by more than a day or two. Since I really didn't feel strong and I wasn't psyched for my workout, I did a moderate lift, nothing fancy, but enough to get the blood flowing, sweat going and muscles pumping. So here is what I did.
Incline DB Press 10x60/ 10x60/ 10x65 (easy-moderate effort)
Incline DB Flys 10x40/ 10x45/ 10x45 (easy-moderate effort)
Dips BWx4x15 total of 60 reps (easy effort)
Flat Bench Press 10x135/ 10x165/ 4x175 (moderate-heavy effort)
I'm still keeping the weight light since I have only recently started doing flat bench presses, as compared to flat DB presses that I normally do.
Hammer Strength Iso Wide Chest Machine 10x270/ 10x270/ 20x200 (moderate effort)
Chest Press 10x200/ 8x230/ 6x260 (moderate-heavy effort)
The mostly low-moderate weights with high reps really had my chest pumped tonight. By the time I left the gym, I felt much better. I'm constantly amazed at the times I walk into the gym not really feeling like doing anything, only to leave glad I worked out.
It has occurred to me it may be that the Paravol is starting to take affect. Libido remains unchanged, but I should know for certain in a week since I'm almost a week into the test and Palo Alto says I should start to notice a difference by then.

After another bizillion inches of rain the last 24 hours, I'm beginning to wonder if it will ever stop raining. Mind you when it does stop, we probably won't see another drop till 2007. In the meantime, it was time to hit the weights again.
I decided to do a back routine today and save the legs for another day, Thursday most likely since tomorrow is an off day for me. Food consumption was rather high today, plenty of protein and moderate carbs. My chest and tri's were feeling "full" all day today, like my shirts were too small for me. What a great feeling! Anyway, here is what I did tonight.
Widegrip Cable Pulldowns 15x140 as warmups 10x170/ 10x190/ 8x210 (easy-heavy effort)
Straight Arm Cable Pulldowns 12x150/ 12x150/ 12x150 (easy)
150lbs is the whole stack of weights. Time to stack on some DB's to increase the weight.
Widegrip Pullups 7, 7, 6, 5, 5 = 30 A definite improvement from last week!
Hammer Strength Iso Back Machine 10x180/ 10x200/ 8x220 (moderate-very heavy effort)
Iso Row Machine 12x135/ 10x160/ 10x170 (easy-moderate effort)
Barbell Curls 10x55/ 10x65/ 10x65/ 10x75 (easy effort)
I decided to cut my routine short since while in the gym I found out we were under a tornado warning here in the Md. Appears one had touched down a few miles up the road, but I didn't know where until I got home. Fortunately it was headed away from me. Having lived in Tornado Alley most of my life, those big whirl-winds are no fun at all.
Anyway, the routine tonight was excellent for me. All the lifts were much easier than normal. I can tell my strength is definitely starting to increase by the ease of the pullups. This may be due to the increase in testosterone from the Paravol. The next few days will certainly tell for sure. I'm starting to get really excited about this supplement!
As I mentioned, tomorrow is an off day for me, with legs due for Thursday, followed by shoulders on Friday.

Well, the floods have finally ended here in the mid-Atlantic area. I never saw anyone lining up animals 2 by 2 (male and female), so I guess everything is going to be ok. The yard got so much rain, the grass actually is starting to mildew. But the sun is out, the weekend is here and all is right with the world. Now on to the wrought iron routine.
Food consumed was above average today. Eggs, oats, tuna, cottage cheese, chicken on wheat, roasted chicken tonight with sweet potato's and mixed vegetables. High protein, moderate fat and carbs....that's my method for attempting to add muscle and limit the fat. Here is what I did tonight.
Squat Machine 12x90/ 12x180/ 12x270/ 8x360 (easy-heavy effort)
The 8 reps at 360 is 2 reps better than I've ever done to date at that weight!
Leg Curls 15x80 as warmups/ 10x100/ 10x110/ 6x120 (easy-heavy effort)
Weighted Ab Crunches 12x50/ 12x60/ 12x70 (moderate effort)
Standing Calf Raises 20x250/ 20x250/ 20x300/ 20x250 (moderate effort)
Unilateral Leg Press 12x180/ 10x225/ 8x270/ 6x315 (moderate-very heavy effort)
This is a leg press machine where you can only press with one leg at a time. Ever go to the gym when there are only 12 people in the whole place and all 18 of them want to do legs at the same time? That was why I couldn't get on the regular leg press machine tonight.
Lying Ab Crunches 12 x 3 = 36 total crunches
Hamflexors 12x60/ 10x70/ 8x80 (moderate-heavy effort)
That was the routine for the evening. Strength was very good today. I'm still a bit sore from my back routine a couple of days ago though. Tomorrow is shoulders, then the weekend. I'll most likely get in a routine on Monday, and probably Tuesday as well since I have to travel for a couple of days the week after next.
Looking forward to tomorrow's routine, should be a good one. I'm also expecting to see a change in libido soon. Strength seems to be elevated, so an elevated libido shouldn't be far behind......no pun intended!

Today was a day off from work for me as I work a compressed work schedule, which means I have every other Friday off. So I got to sleep in late (till 7:00am) and received a very nice surprise this morning. The morning started off with some excellent wood I haven’t had in awhile! The good news, the wife knew exactly what to do with it! :D The bad news, we got interrupted and had to terminate the morning activities. Now as far as I know, there is only one thing that causes an erection, and that is testosterone. Without it, all the supplements in the world are pretty much useless. Therefore, I must conclude the Paravol is in fact starting to work as advertised. I’m optimistically cautious at this point, but so far, so good!
Anyway, since I was off work today, I had a normal breakfast, a quick visit to the grocery store, and then hit the gym. (The wife and I will get caught up later….I hope! :D) With that, here is what I accomplished today.
DB Shoulder Press 12x45 as warmups/ 10x50/ 10/55/ 10x55/ 6x60 (easy-heavy effort)
This is the first time I was able to get 2 full sets at 55lbs in awhile.
DB Shrugs 12x80/ 12x90/ 12x100/ 12x110 (easy-heavy effort)
Lateral Raise Machine 12x25/ 12x30/ 8x35 (moderate effort)
Shoulder Press Machine 10x150/ 10x160/ 8x170/ 5x190 (moderate-muscle failure)
The 190lbs is a personal best on this routine!
Hammer Strength Shrug Machine 15x180/ 15x180/ 15x180 (easy effort)
Reverse Pec Dec 12x90/ 12x90 (easy effort)
Lateral DB Raises 10x20/ 10x25/ 10x25 (moderate-heavy effort)
This last set was a superset, meaning I did not take a break in between sets. My deltoids were pumped and screaming at me by this time!
That was all I had in the tank today as I was starting to feel pretty nauseous. With very little food, one would have thought I was cutting. But actually I’m still trying to add muscle and weight. Overall though, it was an excellent routine. Strength was up, even though the endurance wasn’t where I would have liked for it to be. A big thumbs up to Palo Alto Labs so far!
I’ll be taking a day or two off with the holidays approaching and family coming into town. I also have to go on travel to Texas for a couple of days the week after next, so I will have to see what happens the next few days. Till then, happy Birthday America!

Spent the last 3 days enjoying the family who was visiting from out of town. We all took off to Bush Gardens in Williamsburg, Va. and had an absolutely wonderful time. If anyone has the chance to go, you have got to ride The Big Bad Wolf and The Loch Ness Monster!! Those are some great rollercoasters! After spending all day at the park, we managed to drag our tired ass home about 8:30pm last night and grabbed a quick 10hrs of desperately needed sleep.
Since the gym was open for about 5 hours today, I decided to get in a chest and tri's routine as I have to leave for business travel this coming weekend. Food over the last 3 days has been down just a bit, especially yesterday, but I managed to stay on the Paravol as directed.
I took it easy today since I thought I had pulled a pec muscle a couple of days ago. I was wrestling around with my son in law and afterwards noticed the left side of my chest around the pec muscle hurt when breathing heavy. After today's workout, the pain (more like discomfort) now appears to be more in the rib area, rather than the muscle. I'm not too sure what the problem is, but I'm going to keep an eye on it since it is on my left side. Anyway, here is what I accomplished.
Flat Bench DB Press 15x50 warmups 12x60/ 12x70/ 10x80 (easy-moderate effort)
Incline DB Flys 12x35/ 12x40/ 10x45 (easy-moderate effort)
Incline DB Press 10x60/ 10x65/ 8x70 (moderate effort)
No pain associated with the lifting, so I decided to push it just a bit more.
Dips BWx4x15 = 60 total (easy effort)
Cable Flys 12x60/ 12x70/ 12x80 (moderate-heavy effort)
Chest Press Machine 10x200/ 10x210/ 8xx220 (heavy effort)
1 Arm Cable Pulldowns 12x40/ 12x50/ 8x55 (heavy effort)
Rope Pulldowns 12x80/ 12x90/ 10x100 (heavy effort)
That was the routine for the day. I had an excellent pump to my chest and tri's. I was very surprised my strength was as good as it was. Libido is starting to increase as well. Only difficulty is trying to find the time......but not to worry. Once the wife and I recover from the weekend, we are going to ride a different type of rollercoaster........if you know what I mean! ;)

Today was Back and Bi day. Food consumption was up to par, with oats, 3 whole eggs, chicken breast sandwiches on wheat, salmon, sweet potato, broccoli, carrots and cauliflower, cottage cheese and a banana on the food list today.
With that, here is what I managed to get done.
Widegrip Cable Pulldowns 12x140 as warmups/ 12x170/ 12x190/ 10x210 (moderate-very heavy effort)
Straight Arm Cable Pulldowns 12x150/ 12x150/ 12x150 (moderate effort)
Pullups 7, 5, 6, 5, 5, 4 = 32 total 2 rep increase, even though the sets increased.
T-Bar Rows 10x135/ 6x145/ 6x155 (heavy-very heavy)
Hammer Strength Iso-Row Machine 12x135/ 10x160/ 8x180 (moderate-heavy effort)
Barbell Curls 12x55/ 10x65/ 10x75/ 6x85 (heavy-muscle failure)
1 Arm DB Curls 10x30/ 8x35/ 5x40 (heavy-muscle failure)
Strength was very good today. The morning wood put me in a great mood today! I can only explain this by a continued increase in test levels. For someone with low levels anyway, I'm curious what lies ahead this next week.
Tomorrow is a day of rest, then I'll hit legs and shoulders before I have to leave on business travel. Hope the wife is ready for this weekend, I have plans for her!

Today was a light day at work, so I had plenty of time to eat. Food consisted of oats, 3 whole eggs, 1 banana, 2 sliced chicken breast sandwiches on wheat, 4oz cottage cheese, 7oz chicken breast, lean steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas, and 2 protein shakes. Protein intake was close to 300gms. Even though I am a so called "clean bulk", I recently noticed I must be getting way over my calorie goal, so I'm going to have to reduce my food intake a tad. (My waist line is increasing faster than I want it to.)
Anyway, on to the legs and abs routine today.
Squat Machine 12x90/ 12x180/ 12x270/ 10x360/ 2x380 (easy-heavy effort)
I stopped after 2 reps at 380lbs due to an extremely sharp pain in my left knee. It felt like someone had taken a knife and drove it straight through my knee cap. I have no idea what that was all about, so I quit on the squats.
Leg Curls 12x80/ 12x90/ 10x100/ 8x110 (moderate-heavy effort)
Weighted Ab Crunches (slow and controlled) 12x50/ 10x60/ 10x70/ 8x80 (moderate-heavy effort)
Standing Calf Raises 20x250/ 20x300/ 20x350/ 20x300 (moderate-heavy effort)
Leg Presses 10x360/ 10x450/ 6x540 (heavy-very heavy effort)
Hanging Leg Raises 12x4 (moderate effort)
Hamtractors 12x195/ 10x225/ 10x255 (moderate-heavy effort)
That was the routine for the day. I actually planned on doing one more ab routine, but simply forgot too. Ever have one of those days where you knew you were forgetting something, but didn't know what? That was me with the last routine.......it just slipped my mind! Oh well. I'll get it next week.
Tomorrow is shoulder day, then I have to leave for Texas on business travel. In addition, I'm going to see just how well the Paravol is working since I'm in no need of any PCT. If you don't know what I mean, that is ok, the wife knows exactly what I am talking about. :D

Well, I realized one thing today. I am NOT a morning person with regard to working out. Strength wasn't where I thought it would have been. It may have been that I'm just not into lifting at 10:30 in the morning. The weights all felt heavy, and it took everything I had to get through my workout. Regardless, I got my routine in anyway. Here is what transpired.
DB Shoulder Presses 15x40 as warmups/ 10x50/ 10x50/ 10x55 6x60 (moderate-muscle failure) The last 2 reps at 60lbs were forced reps.
DB Shrugs 12x70/ 12x80/ 12x90/ 12x100/ 6x110 (moderate-heavy effort)
I was starting to loose my grip on the 110's, so I stopped at 6 reps.
Lateral Raise Machine 10x25/ 10x25/ 10x25 (easy-moderate effort)
I now know what has caused the chest pain on my left side. It wasn't a pulled pec muscle at all. I believe I have pulled something in my ribs, cause this routine was painful as hell! I'll have to give myself a break from this routine for awhile. Shame too, cause it really hits the delts big time!
Shoulder Press Machine 10x150/ 8x170/ 7x180 (moderate-muscle failure)
Reverse Pec Dec 12x90/ 10x100/ 10x110/ 6x120 (easy-heavy effort)
Standing Calf Raise Machine Shrugs 20x200/ 15x250/ 12x300/ 10x350 (moderate-heavy effort)
DB Lateral Raises 10x20/ 10x25/ 6x30/ 6x25 (moderate-muscle failure)
That was the routine for the day. After some food, a shower and a bit of rest, I decided to see just how well the Paravol was working outside the gym. The wife was very satisfied with the results, and I must say, the orgasm was intense, but not as much as I expected it would be. I hope the next one is better.
I leave tomorrow on business travel and will return to the log mid next week.

My travel is finally over, and I managed to get back home around 2:00pm this afternoon. I decided to get in a back/bi routine today, even though I had to get up at 4:30 this morning to catch my flight home. I kept up my supplementation, even though food consumption was done for the last 3 days...so I figured my strength would be way down as well. Surprisingly though, strength was much higher than I thought it would be. Here is what I did tonight.
WideGrip Pulldowns 15x140 as warmups 10x170/ 10x190/ 8x210 (moderate-heavy effort)
T-Bar Rows 8x135/ 8x135/ 10x115 (moderate effort)
Seated Cable Rows 10x150/ 10x170/ 10x180 (easy-moderate effort)
Straight Arm Cable Pushdowns 12x130/ 10x150/ 12x150 (easy-moderate effort)
Cable Curls 10x70/ 10x80/ 10x90/ 10x100 (easy-moderate effort)
Iso Row Machine 10x135 (1 arm at a time) 10x135/ 10x135 (using both arms at a time) (easy-heavy effort)
I really like doing both arms at a time on this routine, so I think I will stay with this variation for awhile.
Hammer Curls 10x25/ 10x30/ 10x35 (easy effort)
Barbell Curls 10x65/ 10x75/ 8x85 (moderate-heavy effort)
That was the routine for the day. Endurance was really starting to taper a bit. So even with 4 days off from the gym, the lack of 5 meals a day effected my strength a bit, but not as much as in the past. I have to attribute this to an increase in testosterone from the Paravol, and nothing else. Attack time for the wife tomorrow to check out the other benefits of my current supplementation....;)

SoMdHunter-
Thanks for the posts and keeping up with such a detailed log. Really good to hear that your test levels are elevating naturally with Paravol and that your low test problems are becomming a thing of the past. Paravol wasn't just formulated to be a sex enhancement pill, your results are showing that Paravol helps low test and other problems that are often common to the older bodybuilder as well as post cycle users.
Good to see that you are liking Paravol and having great results. Is the wife ready for the sexual effects of Paravol? Definately looking forward for your next update.

Today was dedicated to chest and tri's. Tomorrow I'll be at the Arlington National Cemetery where a military veteran and Naval Aviator I have known and respected for years will be laid to rest. The worse part is that he was only 26 years old. Man I just hate funerals, but this is one I refuse to miss.
Anyway, for tonight I changed up my routine to see if what I read in the magazine "Reps" works, and apparently it does. The change involved incorporating flys early in the routine in an effort to tire the pecs before the anterior delts and tri's start to tire. It must have worked better than I thought it would, cause my bench press was really low tonight (not that it was ever very high to begin with). Food consumption was average, consisting of whole eggs, oats, chicken breast, banana, tuna, sweet potatoe, mixed vegatables, salmon and a couple of protein shakes. I'm also glad to see weight is up to 209lbs, a 3lb increase since starting the Paravol. Anyway, here is what I did.
Incline DB Press 12x50 as warmups 12x60/ 9x65/ 6x70 (easy-heavy effort)
Incline Flys 10x35/ 10x40/ 10x45 (easy-moderate effort)
Flat Bench Flys 10x40/ 10x45/ 10x50 (moderate-heavy effort)
Bench Press 12x135/ 8x155/ 6x175/ 8x155 (easy-heavy effort)
This routine is still relatively new for me, so for those that haven't read any of my previous posts, I keep the weight low and concentrate on form. For tonight, this was a good thing, cause the bar was really getting heavy in a big hurry!
Tricep Cable Pushdowns 12x110/ 12x150/ 12x150 (easy effort)
Rope Pulldowns 10x90/ 10x100/ 10x110 (moderate effort)
Chest Press 10x200/ 8x220/ 8x240 (moderate-heavy effort)
Supersetted with
CG Chest Press 12x140/ 10x160 (heavy effort)
That was it for the day. I had a great pump and felt this was a very good workout for me. The flys certainly kept me from doing what I thought would by my more "normal" weights, but in retrospect, I really wasn't that far off my regular weights. I think I'll keep the flys in my routine for a few weeks and see how it goes.

Today was dedicated to working my back only. Since the testing is starting to draw to a close, I wanted to see what anabolic effects Paravol might be having due to an increase in my testosterone levels. I purposely kept my food intake slightly below par for the day, by eliminating 1 chicken on wheat sandwich from my diet. I'm not sure why, but it seems my strength is a bit higher when I keep my calorie count down just a tad.
Anyway, off to the gym we go!
Widegrip Pulldowns 15x140 as warmups 10x180/ 8x200/ 6x220 (moderate-heavy effort)
The 220lbs was a personal best for me on this routine.
Straight Arm Cable Pulldowns 10x150/ 10x150/ 10x150 (easy effort)
Seated Cable Rows 10x180/ 8x200/ 8x210 (moderate-heavy effort)
The 210lbs was another personal best for me on this routine.
T-Bar Rows 8x135/ 6x155/ 5x160 (moderate-muscle failure)
The 160lbs was yet another personal best for me on this routine.
Hammer Strength Iso Row Machine 10/135/ 10x135/ 10x135 (moderate-heavy effort)
I did this routine using both arms at the same time, even though you can do the lift one arm at a time. This allowed me to concentrate on controlling the lift and not cheating by using my upper body. I got a great pump to the lats by doing the lift in this manner!
Chinups 5, 5, 5, 3 = 18 reps (heavy-muscle failure)
This was all I could do tonight. I normally go until I get 30 reps, but with the extra weight I lifted, I simply ran out of gas. But that was just fine.
Overall, I had an excellent lift tonight! Strength was definitely up there. And on a more personal note, the sexual effects of Paravol has certainly left the wife and I in a great mood! ;) The orgasms have been incredible. Oh, and mine have been pretty damn good as well! ;) I can only contribute this to an increase in my testosterone levels. Shame I don't have a source to get a blood test done at no cost. I'd really like to know what my test levels are.....that would be an exact measure of the effectiveness of Paravol.
Tomorrow will be dedicated to chest only. If tomorrows routine is anything like todays, it will be a blast!

Am I the only one about to melt?? Dayum it was hot today!
My routine today was dedicated to chest only. Food consisted of oats, 1 whole egg and 2 additional egg whites, 7oz of chicken breast with whole wheat crackers, cottage cheese, a chicken sandwich on whole wheat, sweet potato, cauliflower & broccoli, and 2 protein shakes with skim milk.
Anyway, the workout went like this:
Incline DB Press 12x50 as warmups 10x60/ 10x65/ 10x65 (moderate effort)
Someone had the 70's in use and I simply couldn't get the 75's.
Incline DB Flys 10x35/ 10x40/ 10x45 (easy-moderate effort)
Flat Bench DB Flys 10x40/ 10x45/ 10x50 (easy-moderate effort)
Dips (Leaning forward with emphasis on the pecs) 4x15 at BW (moderate effort)
Chest Press 10x200/ 8x220/ 6x240 (moderate-heavy effort)
Hammer Strength Iso Wide Chest 10x125/ 7x135/ 5x145/ 10x100 (heavy-muscle failure)
Overall, it was a very good workout. For some reason I didn't sleep very well last night, which I believe affected my intensity a tad. All 3 benches were busy with everyone doing benchpress, so I couldn't get those in. I thought everyone did chest on Monday's, but the place was packed with people today doing chest routines today. What's up with that? Don't they know it is too hot outside to work up a sweat in the gym?
I have noticed doing the DB flys certainly tires the pecs before the delts and tri's give out. While it seems to lower my weights on some of the lifts, I feel I'm getting a better workout to my chest, so I'm going to stick with this routine for a few weeks. That was it for the night. Tomorrow is leg day, which I plan on going light weights. Last time I did legs, I had some very sharp pain in my left knee which I don't believe is totally recovered. But we will see.

Dave,
No problem doing the log for you and Palo Alto Labs. If you would, keep me in mind in the future. I may be interested, depending on what you are coming out with next. I also know some other bros who may be interested.
Libido is pretty good. The orgasms is what I have been impressed with. After the last one I had to take a nap! Bad part is the wife tore her achilles tendon and is now in a cast. And no, it didn't happen while having sex! ;)

Somehow I ate a couple of extra capsules along the way, or there were only 58 and not 60. In any event, I took my last 2 pills today instead of tomorrow as planned. Regardless, this still gives me 4 full weeks on the Paravol. I'll do a shoulder routine tomorrow, then do a summation on the product.
Today was leg and abs day. I had decided to take it easy since my left knee was giving me problems last time I did legs. It turned out to be a good thing too. I haven't slept very well the last 2 nights. Hard time falling asleep, difficult time staying asleep. Then during the day all I want to do is sleep. Seems like something is bothering me for some crazy reason, but I have no idea what it is. To compound the situation, I got separated from my lunch today, so my calorie consumption was way down. The lack of sleep and little food made for one weak lift today, but I got it done none the less. Here is what I accomplished.
After warming up on the hack squat machine:
Squat Machine 12x90/ 12x180/ 12x270/ 8x360 (easy-heavy effort)
No pain in my left knee, which was good news.
Seated Weighted Ab Crunches 15x50/ 15x60/ 15x70 (easy-moderate effort)
Hamflexors 12x40/ 10x50/ 10x60/ 10x70 (easy-moderate)
Standing Calf Raises 20x200/ 20x250/ 20x300/ 20x350 (easy-moderate effort)
Hanging Leg Raises 4x12 (moderate effort)
Uni-Leg Presses 12x145/ 10x200/ 10x245 (moderate-very heavy effort)
Someone else had the leg press machine in use, so I had to use this machine.
Ham Tractor 12x180/ 12x195/ 12x210 (moderate effort)
Decline Situps 4x10 (heavy effort)
Testosterone increase or not, that was all I had in me tonight. Plenty of food and 9 hrs sleep is what this old man needs. I could fall asleep right now, but I would be up at 3:00am, so I will have to wait a couple of hours.
Like I mentioned, tomorrow will be my shoulder workout, and that will be the last one on the Paravol. However, I plan on keeping up with my routine and will post again when I start to notice the Paravol reciding.

Today was a much needed shoulders day. It had been a couple of weeks since I had worked my delts and traps.
I spent most of my work day in meetings, and not being able to eat as much as I wanted to, although I DID get a good night's sleep last night. My weight is down 2lbs to 207, due to not being able to keep my calorie intake as high as I need to. I'll do my best to make up for it next week. It could also be due to me hitting the gym 5 straight days as well.....something I don't normally do.
Anyway, here is what was accomplished tonight.
DB Shoulder Press 12x45 as warmups 10x50/ 10x55/ 6x60/ 8x55 (moderate-very heavy effort)
I'm really having a hell of a time getting past those 60lbs DB's! Talk about a sticking point!
DB Shrugs 15x60/ 15x70/ 15x80 (easy effort)
Shoulder Press Machine 10x150/ 10x160/ 10x170/ 7x180 (moderate-muscle failure)
Lateral Cable Raises 15x35/ 15x40/ 10x45 (moderate-very heavy effort)
Standing Shrug Machine 15x180/ 15x180/ 15x180/ 12x270 (moderate effort)
DB Lateral Raises 10x20/ 10x20/ 10x20 (moderate effort)
Reverse Pec Dec 15x90/ 12x100/ 10x110 (moderate-very heavy effort)
That was the routine for the night. Overall, it was a really good routine for me. I had a good pump to my delts, a most unusual and strange feeling for sure. I also eliminated a lateral raise machine routine due to soreness in my ribs. I believe I have injured the cartilage between the ribs on my left side, and the lateral raise machine I use really gets to the rib area due to positioning on the seat.
I'll spend tomorrow going over my notes in the journal I carry with me in the gym. I'll write up and post my summation on Saturday and that will complete this log. I would like to thank Dave at Palo Alto Labs for giving me the chance to test out their new product. I've enjoyed testing it for them, and hopefully they have gained at least some insight as to the effectiveness of their product. If anyone has any suggestions on improving how I keep my log information, please feel free to comment.

I decided to add 1 more day, completing the week after working bi's and tri's today. Food consumption was well above average, and so was the workout. Here is what I did.
DB Kickbacks 12x20/ 12x25/ 10x30 (easy-moderate effort)
supersetted with
Hammer curls 12x20/ 12x25/ 12x30 (easy effort)
Tricep Cable Pushdowns 12x150/ 12x160/ 12x160 12x150 (moderate effort)
EZ Bar Cable Curls 12x80/ 12x90/ 10x100/ 10x110 (moderate-heavy effort)
Rope Pulldowns 12x80/ 12x90/ 12x100 (easy effort)
Double Bicep Cable Curls 12x50/ 12x60/ 10x70 (moderate-heavy effort)
Dip Machine 12x180/ 10x230/ 10x270 (moderate-heavy effort)
Incline DB Curls 10x25/ 10x30/ 8x35 (moderate-heavy effort)
Barbell Curls 10x55/ 10x65/ 10x75 (moderate-heavy effort)
I'm going to start using the EZ bar on this routine, the straight bar really creates pain in my forearm tendons.
Close Grip Chest Press 10x160/ 10x180/ 10x200 (easy-moderate effort)
Overall, this was an excellent lift for me. Good pumps to both the tri's and bi's. I noticed my tricep strength was really good today, but my bi's seemed to be lacking a bit. I guess I need to hit them more often. Something I will work on in the future.
Stay tuned folks, I got one more entry for this log. It will sum up my evaluation of the Paravol, how it effected me and what I think of the supplement. Thanks for following along, whoever you are.

During the course of this log, I tried to keep my food consumption and sleep as consistent as possible so I could eliminate these as variables. I would consider myself only moderately successful at the amount of sleep I got. The food consumption for the most part was easier to control, in which I felt I was more successful at.
Strength Effects:
I noticed at the end of the first week an increase in strength in the gym. I didn't get carried away with the amount of weight I lifted, as I feel form and control is more important than the sheer amount of weight. For the most part, I had the focus, intensity and strength to lift more weight than I did, but I would have had to sacrifice the reps to do so. Muscle fullness and "the pump" are what I used to judge how the routine was for the day.
I kept my routines as close to the same as possible, using a subjective analysis of easy, moderate, heavy, very heavy and muscle failure as my level of effort categories by which to judge my routine.
As everyone knows, (or at least most everyone), sleep and food determines one's strength levels as much or more than anything else. With those being as stable as I could make them, I found my routines generally got easier and easier while keeping the weight I lifted staying the same. While those coming off an AAS cycle would most certainly notice a strength reduction, I noticed an increase. This I attribute again to the increase in test levels.
And just for the hell of it, after 4 weeks on Paravol, I decided to see how much I could lift during a back routine. As a data point, I set 3 personal bests on 3 different routines that night!
Sexual Effects:
By day 10 I had noticed morning erections were returning with greater regularity. This certainly indicates an increase in my testosterone levels, since they are higher at night than any other time of the day. The wife was most pleased and eager to take advantage of the Paravol effects. By day 15, the morning erections were an everyday event, and the wife and I were two happy campers. ;)
By day 18, I noticed the orgasms were incredibily intense! They became those that build and build until you just can't hold back anymore. Man what a sensation! The amount also increased considerably as well! There were days when I simply wasn't in the mood for sex, but on the whole, I saw a great improvement! The wife was very happy with the hardness and duration of my erections. Just like the old days!
I've also been off the Paravol for 4 days now, and the results are only now starting to diminish. As much as I hate to see it, this is necessary for me to get my testosterone levels to a more "normal" range for me as I have an upcoming Dr. appointment for low test. My desire is to find the cause and develope a treatment with my Dr. that will allow me some sort of permenant solution.
Overall Evaluation:
I didn't really track anyone else's Paravol log as I wanted to form my own opinion of the product. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest rating, I would have to give Paravol a solid 8.5. Having not run an AAS cycle, I feel only someone who has experience with AAS and PCT would be qualified to rate it any higher. I realize this is a subjective rating, but then again, the entire product testing on this site is subjective in nature.
From what I have seen and felt, Palo Alto Labs has an excellent product on their hands. It would be interesting if they were to possibly sponsor a few (4-8 maybe) people to run a mega-dose of Paravol, say something like double the dosage. I certainly didn't see anything in the ingredients that would create undue lever stress. Just a thought.
I would like to thank Palo Alto Labs for choosing me as one of their product testers. Should they have any new products soon to be released, I would be interested in seeing if they fit in my regime for possible testing. Also, if they have enjoyed my log and the information provided, I would appreciate them letting the other company reps know about my logs. (Hey, it never hurts to ask!)
