I'm looking to purchase a good threadmill. $1500 or less. Everything I see looks very cheap and looks like its not stable when you run on it. The only threadmill that I liked was this nautilus one, but its way to expensive.
http://www.nautilus.com/catalog/productdetail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441760 631&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302030983&bmUID=1150393067327

Does anyone know of any sites or stores that sell good threadmills at a good price? I don't know if this is included in most threadmills but, I want a threadmill that shows me how fast I'm running a mile. The Threadmill at my old gym showed the time of was going to complete a mile. That's what I want.

Run! dont walk, to your nearest nordictrack stroe. They are closing all the retail stores and you can get a treadmill for up to 75% off. I picked up a $1600 treadmill for $499 and a buddy picked up the S4000 model (originally $4999) for $1700 out the door. They close Friday the 24th so you got less than a few days.

I wish a lived near one. There is only one store in Florida and its in Orlando. Its a three hour drive from Jacksonville. Running there would take me weeks. :)

Still, if you call that store and verify their inventory over the phone it'd be worth it to make the drive for the once in a lifetime savings.

Proform.com
they have decent treadmills on there and it shows what you were looking for on the display as far as how long a mile would take and the good thing about it is they give you a payment plan where you can break it down to 5 payments over 5 months and all you need is a debit card no credit check

I bought a NordicTrack 4 months ago and it's great. Awesome motor, nice incline, wide belt, really quiet.

Elite 2900 :D. Cost me $1500.
