I have a photo shoo for magazine calender in exactly two weeks. I have been in Pharmacy school the past year so i picked up some weight and fat. I am usually very lean year around (5-8% bodyfat) no matter what I eat or how much i workout. However, this past semester really killed me. I think I got up to about 13%. The last 3 weeks I have been busting my ass with cardio and weights. I have managed to get back alot of definition. However, my abs seem like they are holding alot of water. Sometimes I they look very ripped and then sometimes they look bloated and soft. I have never done a show or anything like this calendar, so I want to make sure that I have that tight skin, vascularity, and very lean look for my pics. What diuretic do you recommend and how should I take it to peak for the pics. I really appreciate some good, sound advice. I really need to be ripped for the pics.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hey bro. I dont know if I'm to late to help, but if not my subjestion is to try Jet Fuel its made by German American Products. It works great. I would also water deplete right before the photo shoot. Just a thought. Good luck.

Delay the photo shoot and diet properly for the event. You can not go from 13% to contest shape in 3-5 weeks. I am not trying to be rude and I wish you the best, but you should have started dieting a lot earlier. I am going to start my next diet at right about 10% and will likely diet for 16-20 weeks to get to the sub 4% numbers(we hope!).

Whatever you do, DO NOT use dieuretics. They will just flatten you and and you will be soft as ****. Muscle is 75% water...do the math. As a pharmacist, yo ushould have a good knowledge of physiology on the cellular level...so be sure to apply it in a way that gives you an advantage. Get your water to 2 gallons a day and keep it there. Do NOT manipulate Na or K...that will screw you over too. the one variable you CAN manipulate is CHO.

Good luck and post specific questions if you have them.
