You mean this thing:
http://www.soloflex.com/
No.
However...it's 300 dollars. For a bar with a 210 lb load limit.
That's ridiculous!
Consider this bar instead if you want a gadget:

That one will handle serious abuse.
The soloflex is a toy, a hollow tube with holes drilled in it, I wouldn't trust it.

You could probably bust up concrete with that Gaspari bar (I exaggerate only slightly).
My jaw just dropped when I saw how flimsy that Soloflex bar looked, and what they charged for one! 300 bucks! The classified ads will be full of them by February, just like all the other infomercial exercise gear, "like new, barely used".
I think that flimsy fad stuff is like AOL - it only sells to those who have never used good, solid stuff (or, in the case of AOHell, had a real ISP) before. Once they put their hands on solid, durable quality, like that G bar, they'll scoff at flyweight stuff like the Soloflex bar.

Happy to help! A lot of us here despise the way that those infomercials and direct-mail snake oil worms sell a junky, overpriced bill of goods to those that are just getting involved in this great way of life. The maddening thing is they sell inferior quality and inferior functionality for a really high price!
