Memorial Weekend?

Well I'm hangin' around the neighborhood this weekend, so I figured I'd start a thread to see what some of you might be doing with the long weekend, so I can live vicariously through you.

As for me... This weekend...

Friday night: Bonfire...

Saturday: My friend who has been laid up to some degree for over a year from a car accident, wanted me to take her and her husband fishing on my new boat... So we're going to go pan fishing at the lake she used to take her family vacation on.

Sunday: I cut down a quarter acre of scrub trees and brush, so I'm going to spend the day clearing stumps, and trying to turn it into a lawn. (I'm selling my house next year, so I'm trying to improve the yard.

Monday: Girlfriend has off from her nursing job so I'm taking her out for a Picnic and a movie.

Only 1 day of fishing this weekend...

But that's alright, since I'm booked with fishing trips filling every weekend after until after the 4th of July.
Actually I think I only work like 11 days in the entire month of June!

So what do your Memorial day plans look like?

Fri: Pack and go to 30 ft Maxum cruiser on the Illinois river. Eat and drink beer. Pass out on boat

Sat: Wake up, wash and wax said boat. Eat and drink beer. Pass out on boat

Sun: Wake up. Eat and drink beer. Pass out on boat

Mon: Wake up, clean up, prolly throw up, and head home and pass out.

Gonna find out just how good sesamin is for damage control.

Damn Viking, bring some sunscreen!

I'll be headin' over to my parents house for drinks and grill out, bon fire there on sat night, bar on Friday night. Prolly get in some trout fishing on sunday.

Thinking about working on Monday to get holiday pay + overtime pay = $$$$
