Myself being at 140 at 20% just to lose bodyfat and later get ready for the Missouri in July how does 14-1700 cals sound? My carbs are 100 grams and under except on one day then of course I let everything go up. Undereating, overeating? I must fine tune it now so I know where to go from here when I really get strict.

You should begin with a base diet of 1700 calories and start deducting 50 calories weekly from there. Try cycling your carbs daily for the first 2 weeks and see how your weight does. For example;
Day 1 300 carbs
Day 2 150 carbs
Day 3 75 carbs/add fat
Day 4 30-40 carbs/add fat
Day 5 Repeat
If that doesn't shift your weight try taking the 5th day to 0 carbs/add fat and see what happens.
What part of Missouri and what show. I just moved nearby and can't find anything bodybuilding related in this area, excpet for Kim and Chad's show in Springfield last July.

Don't forget the protein, at least 1 gram per lb of bodyweight to spare that precious muscle, otherwise you can easily just turn into a smaller version of a soft person

Protein intake is not a problem. The contest is the Missouri Championships in Spfld mo. That's where I live. Anyway like I said I would like to get hopefully to 14-15% and maintain it before the show, plus I'd look really good :-) Thanks for the help and I really do think I'm ready this time :)

Protein's a given. I've done searches for contest in this area but don't see much activity, of course I'm an hour and a half away from Spfd, so I'm sure it's not considered in my region. Can you send me or post some info so I can get on the mailing list, or the name of the Chariman? *pitiful look* :D

When it gets closer to getting the info I'll pm you and get to the address. Kim and Chad are friends of mine and I have been aquantances(whatever) with her for almost 10 yrs. I wold love someone else to do the show with me or just be there.
