The bench I purchased online sucks. Now I wish I shelled out for more. What can I do. I can't return it.

How long ago did you buy it? If it took longer than 30 days to realize it sucked, that's your fault. Any on-line store I've dealt with will accept returns, minus the S&H if it's not faulty. Other than that, garage sale, local newspaper or Ebay.

What kind is it?

It's a dumbbell bench and it's only been 2 weeks. I bought it from Walmart but I threw away the box.

I wasted $50 on it. But now I would pay 10 times that amount for a moderate olympic bench. And I can't dumbbell press even 15 lbs.

What do you mean you "can't DB press even 15lbs"? Nevermind.

So you bought a Danskin bench I'm guessing? I have 2 and think they're great. They're lightweight (as in, not for pro BBers), but they are versatile and serve my needs. Again, nevermind.

You should be able to return a Walmart item like that without a box to a Wally World store even if they only sell it on-line. I'm not 100% sure, but damn, call and ask them before coming here to whine about what to do with it man. Come on ;)

Okay, I pulled up Walmarts online return policy. It says you can just return it to (a) store for a full refund.
I know you should have the box as it says but to be honest I have returned a million things to walmart without the box. So I think I would call the local walmart and ask them if you can return it without the box. It is worth a try.
I am assuming you are a kid so you might want to get a parent to do the actual calling.

Thanks for checking Chipman. And yeah, I know it's a "woman's bench." 1 grown man and two young strapping lads have enjoyed these $40 woman's benches without any regrets. :) In fact, I bought the 2nd one 2wks after the 1st one. I use em' for dips, incline press, sit-ups, db curls etc... As I said in a previous thread here recently, they aren't for someone who weighs over 250 or so, but they're plenty sturdy for the average guy and you CANNOT beat the price for what you can do with them.

What exactly is wrong with the bench? If you can barely press 15 lb DBs then pretty much any bench should be ok for now.

For one it's wobbly and hard to do db press because part of the bench will always be declined. And it's hard to get in position to do db press.
