You hunt rabbits with beagles? My dad and I rabbit hunted with beagles alot. We used to have about 12 beagles. Over time we just kinda got out of it. Man, there is nothing like hearing that dog strike. *thinking back to some of the good old days*

I used to use a Walker. She was pretty good until my mom started babying her. Oh well. She became a really great family dog. My brother used both walkers and Red bones. He prefered the Walkers.

I love to hunt, but I have never liked the idea of hunting coons. They are such clever animals and I have always wanted one for a pet, and that is saying alot becuase I don't usually like pets.

I don't believe in killing animals unless you intend to eat it, but if you are going to eat it and not wast it just for it's fur then go rite ahead.

I do like to shoot rabitts though King Crush.

Coon hunts, (raccoon) are about the American equivalent to an English fox hunt with the only differnce being we eat the coons.

I dont see how you made the mistake. If you read through the whole thread you see pictures of dogs posted and the words "rabbits", "racoons". You can obviously see that everyone in the thread is talking about animals.

Of course we can but I can assure that people that hunt raccoons don't have a bit of a thought about a racial slur when they here the words coon hunt, coon club, etc..Just google coon clubs and see what pops up. Sure there is some racial connotation if someone wants it to be there but it just isn't..

I dont see how you made the mistake.

Try looking at 1,000 reported posts a day and then you will see. Someone who didn't know what this thread was about either reported the thread. Sick not knowing American slang for Racoon, took it as Racist.

All fixed now.

Play nice :)

I made an honest mistake, we are not all from the same region, certain words may mean completely diff things depending on where ya from.

I dont see how you made the mistake. If you read through the whole thread you see pictures of dogs posted and the words "rabbits", "racoons". You can obviously see that everyone in the thread is talking about animals.
So your saying an honest thread cant turn into a racist thread?

Lets just drop it.

What an idiot - I would love to see a sheperd that will tree or bay anything. Aggression on command - great. Tracking and treeing - not.
