Because it makes them look better when theyre up on stage in the lights. People who are tanned look a lot more 'cut' and their muscle looks like it has a lot more detail than people who are not tanned. So it makes sense to apply Pro Tan (the tanning 'stuff') to give your physique an added edge.

Right....with no tan,you`d show no definition under the bright lights.

You`d look pretty stupid too as everyone else would be dark as hell !! :)
