Hola folks, back at it again this time Im injury free and a lil smarter(depending on whom u ask)..
Doing a DC style of workout here as of late, been working for me purty good so we will see where it takes us..Been taking everyhting nice n slow rep wise, egos all busted up but once again, no injurys..LOL

I will post the workouts as I go, just glad to be back amongst the living again..
Good to see some of the old faces are still here..
Hope everyones Easter Holiday went well..

today 30 mins of cardio, lord how i hate that shiite..
but a necessity, then some core work, 3 sets of 25, worked late last nite, didnt really have the energy to hit the gym this A.M.-
will be there manana tho !!!

well woke up this morning w/a nice migraine, love that feeling of someone cuttin yer head open w/a butter knife..
took a excedrin quicktab, half hour later, we were in the gym..

flat db bench (18)
cable cross over (havent done those since the kate 80s..LOL)(15)
military dbell press(18)
side laterals(20)
pushdowns(20)
rope extension(25)
seated row(21)
front pulldowns...(18)
all nice n slow...

head was still aching like crazy, tried not to hold my breath at all b/c it increased the pain..
all in all a decent workout considering..

it takes me about 40 min or so, dependin on if do it right time wise..
it works for me for right now, slow n steady wins this race..
i usually wait 20-25 seconds between sets or so..
first set is usally 8-10 rep range and then so on until the reps ar met, usually in 3 sets, some 2
once i reach that goal rep wise i crank it up a lil more next workout..
the key is stretching after the set is done, damn crap hurts !!!!
hard part is going slow on the way down, its an ego check for sure..

ive started doing yoga at nite to stretch out, helps a ton i tell ya..

cardio this AM, all went well, then some core work..

I've taken some of the same things that the DC guys that you seem to have, such as the stretching and slow reps (though I don't always go as slow as I ought to). I learned a great deal of flexibility techniques during the days of my wrestling, Aikido and Ju-Jitsu and still do those stretching routines every day. It does make a huge difference. Keep up the hard work, man! It's nice to compare notes with other folks about what they're doing. It's a good way to pick up new ideas, sometimes.

took a few days off to relax and have a few w/the boys, had a bday party downtown at the W Fri Nite, jeesh damn place is like South Beach, skin everywhere..my damn eyes were poppin outta myn head..lol
did some cardio today, back in the gym manana w/renewed angerrrrrrrrrr..

did legs n bis this AM..
went well, nice n slow..
felt good to back in le gym..
straight bars curls
machine curls
seated calves
lying leg curls
leg presses
all felt great, went slow on the presses..they were burning

been workin late the past 3-4 days, no time to hop on folks..
great day in the gym..

did incline press
flay flyes
military press machine
side laterals
close grip bench(i was spent)
pushdowns
seated row machine
front pull down
shrugs..

was all kinda whooped then a buddy called and we played a quick 9 holes..
was 2 over, good round, couldve been better if i hit 2 more birdie putts..
oh well next time, the greens r like kryptonite to old Superman here..hate em !!

weekends over..
seated curls
straigth bar machine curls, nice n slow, felt good..
seated calves
stiff leg dlifts
hack squats, loaded up a lil more this time, fell 2 reps short of goal but felt good anyway..

incline press
incline dbell flys, changin it up a bit..
military dbell press nice n slo--
dbell laterals
dips
pushdowns w/straight bar
bent over rows...
seated rows
then hangin legs raises, damn those hurt !!!!

happy thursday !!!
diests goin ok, broke down and had some ice cream last nite, needed it for stress refief from work..lol

Holy crapp..
its been a week since i posted, sorry..
workouts r great, had a huuuuge cino de mayo party last friday, took a day off after, not as young as i once was..l
strength is slowly increasing which is surprising since im eating pretty clean for once..
did cardio this AM, wanted to do yardio after work but its raining and it will be for awhile which sux..
back in the gym in the morning..

alrightee then..
got some kind of food poisoning over the weekend, have it coming out both ends for the past 2 days, went to urgent care last nite, and they gave me 2 bags of IV, gave me some shots and sent me home..lol
i dont feel too bad just weak like Chi..hahahahaha
some nite i tell ya..
gonna take a few days off til i get some food that can stay in me..
