This is my first post in this section, so WHOOO!!
On to my question, does anyone here run extremely long distances? 15+ miles at one time, for instance? I have recently started this kind of training and found it to be amazingly therapeutic and fun. But at the same time, I'm scared it will destroy my gains. I'm eating a lot more to be able to do this, but it still worries me.
Anyone else out there into this?

I don't get what you mean.Marathon and untramarathon are extreme sports, at some point, very quickly they will interfere with weight training--not too many 200 plus pound marathoners running around (pun intended :)). Converesly, the extra muscle is usless in marathoning and will only slow you down. Marathoning will also draw vital nutrients away from bodybuilding and severely curtail any progress.
There is a happy medium though...Iron Man

That could be what I want to do. Is it impossible to maintain around 195-200 while running 15 miles a day? I have noticed a 1-3 pound fluctuation in the past couple weeks, but nothing major. On second thought, I may have big brass balls that clang when I walk, but I don't think i could be anything huge in the Iron Man competition.
