Here's my first attempt at a keto diet.
Stats
height: 6'5
weight: 235lbs
bodyfat: ~15%
goal is 10% bodyfat before summer. 5% = 12lbs fat
Generally, easy task, but my body's been really hesitant to cut fat. I was 320lbs, lost 130lbs of fat, gained like 30-40lbs of muscle in the last 3yrs.
I just bought ketostix to see how i fare. How long do I have to be eating 'keto style' before i see on ketostix?
Diet will consist of roughly 60/2/38 (fat/carb/protein), but add in TKD to the mix. I'm going to take in about 50g of carbs pre and post workout. (4 days a week)
Day 1:
Meal 1 - 7am
5 large eggs
0.5 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp natural PB
(458cal - 35/5/29)
Meal 2 - 9:15am
6oz ground beef
.5tbsp olive oil
1/2cup peas&carrots (only veggies i had left)
(534cal - 42/5/33)
Meal 3 - 11:45am
2.5 small chicken breasts
.75tbsl olive oil
1/2cup peas&carrots
(606cal - 21/5/92)
Meal 4 - 1:45pm
1 small chicken breast
27 almonds
(452cal - 25/6/52)
