Hi...I was always overweight as a teenager b/c I never knew how to eat right. Last year I started eating unhealthy and dropped 20 lbs. I was overexercising and undereating. I stopped being that way in june. I hadnt gained but actually lost weight eating normal til early september and then I gained a few lbs. I am at the point where I need to start knowing what to eat and how to work out. My typical workout is just running...usually 2-3 miles. Are supplements healthy? I just need direction and a diet I can stick to... I'm between 125-130 lbs at 5 ft. 3 in. Thanks

Norgirleye...
It does not sound like you are very overweight...but you might just need to start eating cleaner and getting a better workout routine. I would not be concerned about weightloss supplements.
Eat 5-6 small nutritious meals a day....do not skip meals.
Running is good cardio, but you will need to start building muscle to keep the metabolism up 24/7. You will be amazed how your body will be transformed with increased muscle mass and decreased fat....even if you don't lose a pound.

Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it. What do you suggest I eat in the 5-6 small meals a day? I don't think I know what my body should be getting. Do you know any way to get increased energy for working out because with work and school and other stresses, I find it hard to always find the energy. Thanks again.
