Been riding since I could walk. It's very fun, and a very useful skill for farming and ranching, getting away into the wilderness, and parades.:D

Horse back riding is very fun! I've been a couple of times when I was a kid.
Ridden for many, many years. When I was younger it was a lot of fun - and a GREAT way to pick up girls.
Now that I'm older - not so much fun, usually sore afterwards, some horses are less fun than others, even a good one will eventually step on your foot, a bad one will do much worse given the opportunity, rather large financial drain, rather large drain on your time, horrible experience when they get older and you are attached to them, etc.
I still like horses as long as they are not mine. I also like my four wheeler.

Chicks dig guys that ride. This is a fact. I wish I had the money and a place of my own so i could have horses again. But I'll just have to settle with boarding the neighbor's mares and foals every year. I love playing with the new foals.

Rode my first horse just before deploying from one of my girlfriends as a "pre-deployment gift" Lotsa fun. I can't wait to get back home and ride again.
I also got to ride a camel while here. It's a lot different than a horse, but still kinda fun. I definitely like the horse experience better.

I read that extensive horse back riding, along with bike riding, will quicken and elevate erectile dysfunciton when you are older. Becasue your penis goes into your body inbetween your legs in the taint area, and when you ride bikes or horses, you continuously beat up, and put pressure in that area, damaging the arteries and veins that deliver and retrieve blood from the penis.
But i used to ride as a child, loved it.
Another intersting tid bit of info about horse back riding and genital damage. A girl i knew in highschool ,who i almost had a relationship with, told me that she coudlnt feel anything in her vagina, it was desensitized. A partner coudlnt bring her to orgasm, nor could she herself cause herself to orgasm. This is becasue she rode horses her whole life, since she was a tiny little girl. And she rode alot, everyday or atleast multiple times a week. The constant bouncing motion of her vagina against the saddle, beat it up and she gets no pleasure from it anymore. She explained it doenst happen to all women, but happens to alot. Sadly, i never got to experience it myself, cuz well that kinda was a turn off for me.
So after heairng these statements, are YOUR genitals safe from horses?:D

^^^ Alot of the people that have problems from riding don't have saddles that fit them properly. That, and if you're bouncing up and down that much, you don't know how to ride very well. You use your legs as shock absorbers, not your crotch.

That's what I was thinking - if he's bouncing you stand a little so you don't take a beating.

there are some links. Thats just about erectile dysfunction. Mostly focus on bike riding, but both mention horseback riding aswell. I will try looking for damaged vagina links later, but i gotta go to class now.

I bike over 2000 miles a year and my wife ain't complaining!! :D You need the right equipment to ride a bike or a horse. My horse saddle was about a grand and my bike saddle was $150, you get what you pay for!!

Yeah, a good saddle is the key, and they are EXPENSIVE!!!!!
My dad has one that's over 80 years old, and you just don't see the quality like that anymore. I've seen him turn down offers of 2 grand for that saddle.

We own a couple horses that we tried breaking for the longest time. We eventually gave up since we didn't have enough time to ride them consistently.
I like riding a lot, but haven't done it in years. Grew up as a kid going to horse camp where I rode for hours every day. Hopefully some day I'll be able to do it some more.
