I did a search, saw a lot say horse mats. Where do you get them? Any other ideas would be great. I just want them to hold up well.
Thanks

You don't mention where you live...
Tractor Supply has them on sale right now for $34...they are 4x6 and almost 1 inch thick and heavy!

Sorry, I live in CT and work 1 mile from a new Tractor Supply, will they hold up with the heavy equipment and weights banging around? Thanks

oh yea....these things are indestructible! We actually use them for horses so they are sitting in the mud and weather all winter, plus we use thme in the stalls, so they are covered in horse crap...had to move them yesterday, and they are good as new (other than the smell!)
Tommorrow at lunch...go down to TSC and look at them, then try to pick one up and see how heavy they are. I don't think you can go wrong with them.

Couldn't agree more on the horse stall mats! My rack was coming Friday PM so I had to pick some up. My choices were some stables that had them for $42 or a horse trailer supply company a bit further away, but opened prior to 10 am. I spent the extra $ to make sure I had them and they are great.
They were actually stored outside and have been getting rain for the past 40 days and 40 nights. I was suprised to find that after a quick sweep of a broom they looked showroom clean. Around here SF Bay Area fitness mats half as thick would run more than 2x what I paid for these and they would have been half as thick.
Remember, these things have to hold up to horses pawing and stomping on these things.
I would have gone to TSC, but they were 2 hours away.

Found this site when I faced the same problem as the OP. SOunds like the horse mats are the way to go.
here's the URL to the TSC horse mat:
http://www.mytscstore.com/detail.asp?pcID=6&paID=1045&sonID=1312&page=&productID=1312&linkedFrom=Homepage&zz=66048&x=0&y=0
They are $34.98 in my area but the price varies depending on where you buy them.
