I'm about 16%BF, 183lbs or so, 6'1". I've been on Rippetoes for 5 months on the 26th. I'm thinking about switching to a split, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, I'm currently trying to eat lower carbs and much higher fats. My fitday can be viewed here: http://fitday.com/WebFit/PublicJourn...er=Ride+or+Die

I keep it pretty updated. Most days I will have all the foods I had eaten all day tracked. Occasionally I'll start a day and not finish it..If that happens it will be very obvious.

So basically, I'd like to get to about ~12%BF, which is 10-12lbs of fat I believe.. I'm going to aim for 1-2lbs/week. I'd prefer to preserve the little muscle mass that I have.

The goal of this thread is to keep me motivated, to get advice, guidance, and help from other, more educated members (that means you!), and to finally reach my goal. PLEASE, help in any way you can..All criticism & advice will be appreciated. Thanks. I'll post daily with my diet, cardio etc.

I weighed in today at 181lbs, 15.7%BF. Lowest I've weighed in at before...I've been stuck at 16-16.5% @ 183-185 for a few weeks now. Must have been the diet change .

Went for a 20 minute jog/walk/run.

Post WO was a protein shake.
~600 cals, 40g carbs, 20g fat, 60g protein.

What does your diet look like? How many calories? Ratio? Even at 180lbs, 600 calorie PWO seems like a lot.

I hadn't eaten for several hours and I won't eat for a few more hours now. It was really more like a meal, but I tend to eat a ton PWO and count is more as a meal.

My fitday is in my sig and the OP. I eat 2000-2300 cals/day, high fat, low carb, med. protein. usually ~50/20/30 fcp.

My diet today was a bit lower in cals than usual. I wasn't hungry so I didn't push it. This was probably caused because of sitting around all day, besides my run.

1900 cals.
108g fat ~53
60g carbs ~12
161g protein ~35

For future reference, would you guys prefer I did my day in separate posts like I did today (1 diet, 1 workout/cardio, 1 weigh in/other) or all in one post?

I went to the gym and did my Rippetoes workout. It was okay.

My diet today was a bit off..I ended up overeating by having a cheat meal at eat n park. It won't kill me. I wasn't too much over normal, anyway. I'd say from what my body is telling me that I ate maybe 2300 cals today (200 over what I usually aim for, not bad)..Prob. about 25% carbs, 30% protein, and 45% fats. Not that bad if you ask me.

Cardio is supposed to be tomorrow but I don't think I'll be home til' very late (I'm going to a David Crowder Band concert). If I don't get to do it tomorrow I'll make it up Fri or something I suppose.

Didn't get to do cardio. Just getting home. I'm going to get ready for bed and get some sleep...Should get a delay or closing tomorrow - it's bad out.

Diet today was off. I did my carb up day today..It was about 15%f, 55%c, 30%p. I ate just over normal, again. It's hard to keep my diet great when I'm so busy. Tomorrow should be better. I have my last Rippetoe workout tomorrow, and if I'm up for it I'll do some cardio. I'll see.

My diet yesterday was okay. I ate 2000 cals. Macros were 56%f, 17%c, 28%p. My protein was a bit low, but that's alright. Cals were in the right place. I did my last Rippetoes workout, and now am moving on to a 3-4 day split on Monday.

Just did a "deck of cards". It was intense..That was a fantastic cardio workout. Makes up for the missed cardio the other day :o. This took me 25 minutes exactly.

This is how I did mine. Ordinary deck of cards. No jokers.

Values:
2-10: same as card value
J,Q,& K: 15
Ace=20

Exercise:
Clubs: Jumping jacks
Spades: Push-ups
Diamonds: BW squats
Hearts: Sit-ups

I'll edit this post with my diet later guys, since I can't foretell what I'll eat :). Feel free to chime in, leave some encouragement, etc. :)
