I play every weekend. My buddies organized a street hockey league and its tons of fun. right now theres two teams left fighting for the championship.

I used to play street hockey, i actually played ice hockey two and playin on the street helped me perform better on the ice. most guys wouldn’t let me play though me bein a girl, but once i showed them that in fact i could play and i was good at it, they didn’t have a problem lettin me play.
to make a long story short, i moved...to a place where they've never heard of hockey our streets are gravel. But i traded my skates for 4-wheelers,dirt bikes and horses..so I’m not complaining :P

I play roller hockey in a rec league. This year I'm gonna be playing with guys from 15-19 years old.. Damn I am not looking forward to playing against the guys who are 19.. But I can't wait untill I'm 19 playing in that league, I'll be so much bigger, be able to dominate against the young guys..

4 on 4, no icing, no offsides, usually 3 lines on O and 2 on D, equal playing time, just for fun. Most games are have at least 10 goals

Being Canadian I played street hockey pretty much every day growing up. Also, played ice hockey since age four. I still play occaisionaly these days but it's hard to get a game going with the commitments and responsibilities that come with age.

In england its not very popular, but i used to play for Grimsby Hurricaines a few years back. We where ranked 5th best in UK for our age, but considering there were only about 15teams per league for under 15s and about 20teams for under 18s. After that every1 either go's pro, or into ice hockey.
