Shake/Gatorade between lifting and cardio?

I was wondering if a shake or gatorade would be a smart choice after lifting but before doing 30-35 minutes of cardio. Feedback much appreciated

A shake during is fine. I'd save the simple carbs in the gatorade for post workout.
