Ive got a 2002 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4. My brother just bought a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab today. I thought Id find out what everyone else is got. The below are not pics of our actual vehicles just ones that look just like ours. I'll post some actual pics when I get a chance to wash my truck.

I have a 89 toyota 4x4. 2 inch body lift, 4 inch procomp suspension, 31" bfgs, 5 speed. Its a good truck to me, has 185,000 miles and runs great. I want to get a solid axle swapped in and let the 18 year old suspension rest once and for all. Im in the process of saving up for a welder to do some good mod work. I love 4x4 ing and mudding.

Great Thread, I've got two.
2005 Dodge Powerwagon, 2" Rancho Lift, 35" BFGs
1973 Ford F250, 35" BFGs
Both trucks used hard, just like Detroit intended.

2001 Chevrolet Silverado with the 4.8l 2wd. Hotchkis 2/4 dropkit with front and rear sway bars. 17" Boyd Coddington rims wrapped in 275/60/17 Toyo Proxes ST's. A few performance mods, but nothing major.
if you care to know my dad has a 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche 2500 with the 8.1. His company has five or six F150's, a F250, I think a F350, and a F750.

what gave you that idea. lol. Being 2wd there isn't really any point in lifting it, so I dropped it and made it handle better. Besides, I live in a beach town, not very many places to go offroad.

2006 Chevy Colorado regular cab 4x4.
Nice little truck, took it to the beach the other day and it did really well on the sand; other than drive me to school, that's all I need it to do.
I still need rod holders and will be picking up some 31" Yokohama Geolanders once spring rolls around

oops one other truck I am redoing. I bought a 1975 dodge prospector 4x4. It is like the original SUV.
Has a 360 engine with a torqueflight auto, I may get rid of this trans and go for a 4 speed, I am not too sure right now. I need to rebuild the engine this year and redo some rough areas on the body. Then I am going to replace the headliner it is falling down, other than that the inside is nice.

2001 Southern Comfort F350 crew cab dually. I have to crank it once a week so the batteries don't go dead - only gets used for vacations and pulling heavy stuff - too hard to park in town.

Have her look into the safety issue. Firefighters have to have special training because most hybrids present special hazards in crashes. There are high voltage cables in the electric hybrids that can electrocute you if it's damaged, ect.

I kinda figured this much when she told me the brake pedal charges the system? H,mmmmm scary as hell to me. And if they are nickel hydride batteries they also pose a hazard.

I'd go with a supercharged LS1 personally. You'd get just as much or more power with that as a 502, and it'd be a lot better on gas with a good tune.
