My lower back has been aching a lot recently and it always feels weak compared to the rest of my body. Not pain as in injured just feels "stressed". Just wondering should I try and work it more to strengthen it or less to take pressure off it????
Any help apprciated!

Do you work your abs? If you do lots of Deads and no Abs some people get back pain from the disproportion of strength in the back compared to the front.

think it may be squats, I went through a high frequency squat routine a couple of months ago, now I'm on westside (mainly because its fun) but my lower back is hurting. I have recently really upped the anti on my abs and I think I was undertrainig them.

Recently I had similar lower back problem after last set of heavy squats (it felt extremely fatigued till the end of the day and somewhat trough next day).
And I did do a lot of core accessories(good mornings ,dragon flags) for 2 month before this .So dont know what else I could do :/

learn how to stretch your back and work on your overall flexibility...
i think it's a muscle imbalance issue...
might want to put heat on it (off/on for 20-30 minutes a couple times a night) til it gets better...
