My 1st show is April 5th
Jan 1st I was 200 pounds, 21%body fat.
Feb 10th I was 175 pounds 13% body fat.
Lift 5 days per week 1 body part per day.
5 days of 40 min of cardio.
Diet is mainly
300g portien
0, 50, 100, 150 carb days. Never more than 2 days in a row at any on level.
10-15g of fat per day.
Now my question, I am exhausted. I have no energy; my motivation is grinding to a halt. I don?t agree with this ?low carb diet? I feel there has to be a different way to drop fat keep muscle and have energy. Any one have a good alternatives?

did you have anyone make your diet? or did you do it all by yourself. To me I think you def. need some more fat in the diet. But check out layne nortons contest prep he has some real good stuff on diet.

Agreed....not only do you need more fat, but I think your calories should be higher. By dropping weight so quickly like you did from Jan - Feb, you more than likely lost muscle mass as well. Personally, I would keep my carbs at 150 every day, increase fats to about 45 grams a day. I'd say once a week, on whatever day you work your "weakest" bodypart, increase your carbs to about 250 and lower protein to about 175-200 grams. From here you can increase cardio as needed or lower your carbs each week if you're not losing between 1-2 lbs a week...

You lost weight too fast, so much so that your metabolism has probably halted. Your carbs are very low for your weight for most cases. Unless you're trying to induce a keto diet, in which case you need more calories from fat and protein. If you're naturally an endomorph you may want to stay on the keto but definitely need to increase fat and protein in that case. If your metabolism is usually decent than more carbs is a must and will help that energy problem. Either way you need to change and either way you're certainly due for a refeed. Jumpstart that metabolism.

Thanks for the help. I am working with a trainner and like most of your comments I have to agree, to much weight loss in a short time. I feel better knowing that I asked the question to everyone. Any more tips would be great. Know of a good trainer :)

you didnt lose weight to quick....I BET 10 pounds came off first two weeks....
WATER from cleaning up your diet...so really you lost 15 pounds in 6.5-7 weeks? NORMAL!
Your diet looks good to me. AS for fats....DONT increase them.....AT 300 grams of protein a day I bet you are already at 35-40 grams daily. IF anything I would watch HOW you feel.
ARE you getting tired to quick? LOSING more than 10 percent strength per week?
IF so increase calorie..if NOT stay were you are. I live at 215-220 offseason...check out my bodyspace to see where I compete at.
GOOD luck bro...any questions PM me
