Endless weeks, months and days of tiling - grouting - degrouting - regrouting - sealing and scrubbing are freaking OVER!!!
I have dehazed the last inch of the bathroom - it is now ready for the toilet and sink to be installed - one last quick crawl under the house for the final plumbing connections - put in the switchplates, silicon the corners and connections and I'm freaking done baby, yeah!!
And I'm taking the day OFF tomorrow - My arms are so sore from wax on/wax off that they're about to fall off!!
It is a small bathroom - 6'x6' ... But it was huge first-time bathroom remodel project to take on! Ugh - I will NEVER do a floor to ceiling tile project with these small tiles ever again!! they're a standard 4x4" for the walls - but there's over 1200 of them...it just sucked!!
I started this in September last year - stripped out the old bathroom that use to connect to the boy's room and it was NASTY!!! We removed everything - the floor and walls, old doorway, removed it all and burned it. We had to repair a lot of rotten beams and joists - but it was worth it.
The floor - from the doorway...You can see the red ring on the left where the toilet will be and the pipe opening where the sink will be (a pedistal) The smaller 8x8" tiles are antique clay tiles that my hubby found at a resale shop - cost just a few bucks for a huge conter full so I added them into the floor design. I'm dating them to be from the 1940's. We lined the window with them, too.

The left wall - from the doorway...with the plumbing on the left (hence the need for the protruding wall.)

The right wall - from the doorway...See how shiney it is!! LOL - it'll never look this clean again, I'm sure.
